For a no frills place, this meal seemed a little pricey. Two combo plates = $31. The beans and rice have good flavor and the cheese enchiladas were decent.The taco was gross and inedible, the ground beef made the whole shell soggy and had no flavor. The lettuce in the taco tasted old and it hardly had any cheese.The service is great, friendly cashier and food was made quickly. Maybe, don’t have the tacos if you visit.
Picked up a quick burrito to go. It was yummy and plump. Price was super fair and the employees were super friendly. I'd definitely go again.
The food we had tonight was so terrible the chil rellano was awful the egg tasted raw an the carne asada enchilada sauce was dark and burnt I will never go back there again ugh
UPDATE: My daughter chose El Gallito to burritos for her b-day dinner, and so we took her and ordered 4 burritos. BUT she forgot to specify she wanted quac and sour cream added until after my hubs had already paid -- the guy told them no problem and gave it to them on all 4 of our burritos anyway! This place has really gone down hill in the pass three to five years ..nachos use to be best in town ..now portions are smaller but more expensive. It's really sad..but I do hope that the nostalgia of the establishment returns.
This is their SUPER TACO Do NOT COME HERE this ain't a super taco it's 2 MINI tacos put together my best friend is Latin and when I showed her this she laughed. It's not ok to play in anyone's food ever and charge them.....

Cheap, healthy and tasty. Its so hard to get all 3 right. I do not understand how this eatery gets less than 5 stars. We ordered chicken/veg/shrimp burrito, quessadilla, veg tostada. The food was amazing. They have the spicy sauce which was a bomb. The lady who took order on phone was courteous and food was presented well.This is a brentwood gem. My family appreciates having them here.
