My parents are old and they recommended this place. We took them out to dinner. The quality and freshness of the fishers are questionable. I think as one gets old, the taste bud isn't as picky.
Great sushi but very slow services we came at 7:30pm
Life changing for some, average at best for those of us that have watched more than one season of anime in our lifetime.
My husband and I had a last minute craving for sushi and this was the closest one to us and we are so glad we stopped by. Customer service was great; we were greeted right away and seated right away. The waitress brought our drinks quickly and the food was flavorful. We decided to go light on dinner since we weren’t super hungry. We ordered the red tears roll and the dancing spicy tuna roll and for appetizers, we ordered the mushroom bomb. The mushroom bomb had the perfect amount of mushroom, jalapeños, spicy crab meat and cream cheese, and the other layer had the perfect level of crispy and drenched in the right amount of sauce. Both rolls were delicious, but our favorite was the red tears. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back for more!
My family and I used to like this restaurant, but they have beyond horrible customer service now, especially from their New Manager Johnbosco. Despite not really having attentive service during our time there we could understand that they were possibly understaffed during a busy time, but that's not the kicker. My 4 year old had a brand new mermaid doll with her that we had just gotten for her. She unfortunately left it at the table and we did not realize until maybe only 30 minutes later. We called back asking for it in which we were told that they could not find it in lost and found. My husband went inside and there we found out the truth, that there is no lost and found (that was supposedly being checked) and that in fact the bus boy threw it in the trash. Instead of maybe just putting it aside, considering it's a child's brand new toy, for an hour or so they decide to just throw it away. Then when I request to speak to the manager, instead of being understanding or apologetic, he tells me "well you can go dig in our trash". Seriously! That was his exact words. He could have chosen to be kind and most Importantly UNDERSTANDING, but instead told me to dig in the trash and that he didn't have to be apologetic that our child left their toy. I explained, "yes it's not your fault that our daughter left her toy, but for customer service you don't EVER tell a guest to go dig in your trash!" Then he proceeded to yell at me saying I "couldn't talk to him like that" "I can't threaten him". He is Literally Out of his mind! That is the utmost worst service and response you could ever give to a Guest. You don't say that EVER TO A GUEST! You and your whole establishment are now just as disgusting as your restrooms and the smell emitting out of them and you know it. Johnbasco- You are SHAMEFUL!
It was horrible. They made our sushi rolls wrong and made it with ingredients that weren’t even on the menu under the sushi rolls we got. Then they still made us pay for it after our order was wrong and it was drenched in cheese and mayo sauce. Don’t go there.
I ordered the Heaven roll to go and it was amazing!!!! ??
Fresh fish with friendly service! Very delicious!
Very friendly & great food! Fishes are also very fresh!
I used to come to this restaurant when I first moved to Brentwood many years ago. Back then, it was expensive but tasty and worth the price. I went back last week and it was the most horrendous sushi experience I’ve ever had. It took 55 minutes for us to get our food. It would have been courteous of the staff to let us know there would be a wait. (Which I heard them tell people after we had already been sitting there for 30 minutes) The food didn’t taste great. Nothing impressed me. Very bland. My CA rolls had hardly any avocado. The table felt sticky and smelled like an old dish rag. When I went to the ladies restroom to wash my hands I was taken back by the smell of sewage. I literally gagged. My only explanation is that the sewer pipe must’ve burst under the restroom. The seats in the booth were so uncomfortable. Our waitress never checked on us and our drinks were empty the entire time. So long story short, I was overcharged for subpar service and basic food. I’m surprised I stayed and ate there. I will not be going back.
