Came here with a party of four for a midweek lunch and was very disappointed in the experience. Wait was almost twenty minutes when there were very few people in the restaurant. We received no silverware and had to ask two people before we received any and this was after our food had already arrived. The chicken was rubbery and the pasta tasted like it was either under cooked or reheated in a microwave. Service was slow and food was disappointing. Also silverware was not clean. This restaurant used to be nice, but now it's just a disappointing experience.
Seated quickly but food was mediocre at best. I ordered a ribeye steak and it was super tough. Had two to three bites of it and decided that was enough, never finished it. Waitress said sorry (not her fault) but did not offer to take it off the bill. Got the bill and there it was. I asked her why I was getting charged for it and she said she can't remove it unless I ask. So I asked and she removed it. Weird.... Bazooka cookie was amazing. My favorite. Wife's burger was well, well done, which isn't what she ordered but rather than complaining like me, she ate it. BJ's is honestly just a fancy, but not fancy fast food restaurant.... Their kitchen is probably so overwhelmed with orders, it's quantity over quality. In the end, was not worth $143 dinner between five people.
Awesome service! Our host Jesus was very friendly and our waitress Katrina was very fast and helpful as well! The food is always good every time we come!
My family of 5 just returned from a very unpleasant experience. This is not our first dining experience with BJ’s and found it conveniently open after many restaurants close early. We ate dinner on a Sunday evening at 9pm on 5/20/22. We were greeted and seated right away. One of the menus was dirty and had food splatter that was caked on one of the pages. Yuck. I ordered the guacamole & chips and there were several cold fries in the guac and the chips were extremely greasy. Upon receiving our partial order , the employee placed our food on the table and we had to track someone else down for utensils and napkins. Many minutes passed and another waiter returned and apologized that the rest of our order “was dropped” , so they were making it straight away (cheeseburger entree and slow cooked tri tip entree. ) Upon hearing that, I let the waitress know about the several cold fries in the guacamole and she replaced it quickly. The replaced guacamole looked nothing like the first batch. The entrees finally came after a very long wait and the rest of our party was already finished. The burger was burnt and inedible! My son said, “it’s ok, mom” , but I informed the waitress of this and she offered another one but we just weren’t going to wait any longer. Our empty drinks were not tended to and after asking for a refill, we had to ask again. As a paying customer, this was a very unpleasant dinner experience for me and my family! The restaurant was not busy by any means with many vacant tables. I understand staff shortage, however there were plenty of staff on the floor. Due to mediocre service and quality of food, we will no longer dine at BJ’s. Totally unacceptable.
Service was on point however they ran out of mojito mix by 12 on a Sunday...?Appetizers were cold. Vegetables for main dishes were cold. Pasta was cold. 5 stars for service, 2 stars for meal. Our server adjusted our bill accordingly but I was expecting more from the food.Pizookie was the bomb and almost made up for poor performance of main course.
Given a text when our table was ready which is convenient. Slight wait for our waiter to come back from break but he brought my little one a complimentary fruit and garlic knot snack so that made up for it. Great food and beer selection as always!
We have ordered deep dish veggie pizza 4 times so far. Every time it's bad, and different kinds of bad. Once it was bitter, once slimey. It seems they either treat to go orders differently or this bjs has subpar cooks. (I won't call them chefs). Every other bjs has delivered consistent experience for me.
food was delicious. my kids loved it too! definitely going back
Great food and great service! We went for my birthday and had a great lunch. The Churro Pizookie was delicious!
This restaurant is horrible. We went yesterday late afternoon and the First Lady said an hour wait. I said there is hardly anyone here. The lady said we r short servers very rude. So then we wait ten minutes for a booth in the bar. The waitress there was awful. I had to ask for silverware and walk myself to the bar for a drink. Them we needed a knife for my daughter because she needed small bites. But was afraid to ask for one and wait 40 minutes for one. I called today to complain to the manager and said why didn’t I report the bad service last night. I said my husband had to work and couldn’t wait. So be aware before choosing this place.
