Had better actually alot better, ordered the ban me #2, bread bland, meats ordinary amounts.Nothing express about Ban Me Express but poor decor but nice movie on for my kids to watch.I'm from the 916 and know what real Banh Mi taste like, I've been vietnanese fairly long, du me.2 star only for local vietnanese business support .
I tried banh mi pork sandwich for the first time today and omg it was delish. The baguette was so soft, grilled pork vwas perfect and not over cooked topped with fresh ingredients. Def coming back! ;-)
I’ve had their poke bowls and enjoy them very much. I decided to get a sandwich and opted for the grilled chicken. The chicken was dry, room temperature and had the consistency of chicken jerky in a non-delicious way. Parts of the chicken were not edible. I don’t know if it was cooked the prior day or just over cooked. They had a big sign that said no returns or refunds so I ate what I could and disposed of the rest. I’ll stick to the bowls or ask for freshly cooked meat next time.
I ordered brown sugar milk tea with no boba and I basically got sweet milk. For what I paid, I could've gotten a whole gallon of organic milk.
I only come here to pick up banh mi. 5 stars for their banh mi.Banh mi are great here if you don’t want to drive to San Jose or San Francisco for one. They do also offer poke bowls. Minus a star for customer service.
Loved their French-influenced Vietnamese sandwiches. The owner is very amiable as well. Definitely going back if in the area again.
One of the best poke food I’ve had in the Bay Area! I came around 6pm and everything was still fresh. Will definitely be coming back for more to try other combinations.The Banh Mi is also better compared to other Banh Mi I’ve had around the area.
This is a fantastic find. The food is exactly as good as advertised. The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning is so good, and the portions are great. Our meal was so satisfying it made our day! I highly recommend it.
Best Tofu/Vegetarian Banh-Mi!!! I have tried many places, even some places in Vietnamese neighborhoods and nothing like this. Fresh!! The Tofu is delicious, and lots of veggies. I’m sure the meat varieties ate great too (I’m a vegetarian ?) ? Recommended. Great service and the owner is super nice!!!
If I was rating the cat I would give a 5/5 but this just so happens to be a restaurant with a top of the line stray cat outside (pure luck, surely taken for granted). The sandwiches are pretty good although mine did not come with pate (sad). Boba was good albeit too sweet and took so long I started to worry they were having to leave out the backdoor to go down the street to buy boba for cheaper and then resell to me at a premium. Overall I'd rate this cat very highly.
