Had a horrible experience at Yummy House in Brea. Started off the night wanting to try a new place for sushi. Found Yummy house and walked in being the only customers in the entire restaurant. They sat us down and told us to scan the QR code for the menu. They make you place your order through your phone and pay for it up front. I only ordered 4 rolls of sushi and a miso soup for my girlfriend and I which came out to a crazy $120 which would be priced around $40-$60 at any other sushi place for the same thing. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt to see if it was worth it. 30 minutes go by without seeing our waiter and he finally shows up to tell us they are out of a roll that we ordered… why wait 30 minutes after confirming the order with us in the beginning? We switched the roll that we ordered to a shrimp tempura roll which the waiter said was in stock. Finally an hour goes by and our food comes (keep in mind we are the only people in the restaurant and our food took an hour) but they got our order wrong. Instead of a shrimp tempura roll that we had to switch our order to since they were out of a roll we ordered, they brought us just some fried shrimp (which was cheaper on the menu and we did not get reimbursed for the difference since we paid up front). The rolls were not even good in my opinion. After an hour wait I was not hungry anymore and I didn’t even want to finish the rolls because they were not even good. My girlfriend left hungry since they only brought her 1 roll and some shrimp she didn’t want and she didn’t want to wait another hour to get the correct roll. I will never be going back and I advise you to not do the same. Horrible experience, horrible service, horrible food and ridiculously high prices.
She charges a tip on the bill without customer knowing, so she probably gets a double tip and customers don’t realize. Unless u notice the overpriced food. Basically top Ramen, bad food and she’s just dishonest. Bad people desperate to survive I guess.
If I could give it a negative 0 I would. I am sooo pist right now!!! ?????????????????. This has been the worst place ever!!!!! I ordered a naked ramen with extra noodles and no meat and this Asian lady gave me both noodles in one little container and in the other container that the broth came in, it was literally half way!!!! I paid 18.31 for a small bowl of noodles with no meat!!!!! Such a rip off!!!! Do not go there!!!! Oh and don't even get me started on the customer service! This Asian lady was soo rude. I called her to explain that my order was wrong, and she LITERALLY HUNG UP ON ME!!! she said there was nothing wrong and hung up. NOT OK!!!!???????????????
Never coming here again.If I could give a 0, I would.First of all, 96-100$ just for 4 ramen???Also, they request for payment, AND TIP before even talking to us or giving us the food. We came here after a very busy day, very hungry, and she came to us every 1-2 minutes taking her time to explain that even the beef and pork they use is HOMEMADE. We came with a person who literally can’t handle tofu, so when he ordered, he did not order tofu. Yet, when they brought us the food, they said oh sorry, we ran out of bean sprouts so we gave you tofu instead. They didn’t even ask us. The amount of food, the taste, was not worth 21-25$ For one bowl of ramen. The ramen ended in about 2-3 bites. They charge nothing for one piece of protein, but for 2 pieces, it’s 4.50 DOLLARS?!?!?The prices are honestly just “why?!”This is the exact thing that will happenYou are hungry, go to this place, order a ramen, 25$, get the food, still hungry bc not enough, you can’t even go somewhere else because you already spent 25$.The service was also very rudeThey come to our table, even after we say ok thank you 5 times already. They can’t obsess over homemade, organic things more.I won’t be coming here ever again. So disappointed ☹️
They charged $16 for a California Roll that was mainly rice and cucumber. The siracha that was on the side was old and tasted weird. Pretty bummed :(
I cannot stress to people enough....while the ramen I got was fine enough, the service was just ok...it's the PRICES. It is sooooooooo incredibly expensive. Do NOT order until you CONFIRM THE PRICES. I will NEVER return to this place, and I don't care how good the food is. It is NOT THAT good.

The food was very good and the smoothies are also good but the service is TERRIBLE. This is the second time the owner has forced us to cancel our smoothie order because she’s “too busy” I’m honestly surprised that she is still in business. You will literally wait two hours before receiving your food. We witnessed the owner yell at some customers who came to eat in. Clearly she needs help in the kitchen but for some reason gets very offended when people suggest this to her. I am very disappointed that we drove 35 min to eat here and finally get to have a smoothie since the last time we waited two hours for it and ended up leaving because it was already 1am and was told it would take another 45min. I feel bad for any of her employees as they seem very scared to even ask her a question. The only reason I am writing this review is because of the poor people she hires only to embarrasses here. This owner needs to learn how to talk to people in a respectful manner. Being rude to your CUSTOMERS who give you business is just as wrong as being rude to your EMPLOYEES who are only helping you run your business. lastly I don’t understand why she makes online ordering for delivery available if she can’t even serve the people who walk in and sit down for a meal.
Nice food and taste good. Reasonable price. I love the taste of their Ramen. They serve me well. I will definitely return to try other nice food there.
Overpriced food. Seaweed(Nori) taste old and sushi does not have a flavor. They did not provide enough ginger/wasabi, and request service fee. They need to improve quality.
