3.5 stars. Braised chicken was pretty bland but the chicken was cooked well and was not chewy. The tofu braised curry was better but both the dishes had rice already mixed in as rhe photo shows and since we got delivery, it was pretty soggy in the bottom. We don't want eat much rice so that wasn't great. Mac and cheese was good for the kid with nice cheese.
We couldn't have chosen a better place for dinner at the end of a long day of moving. This was our first time at Urban Plates.A very nice blend of healthy choices. We ordered the Ahi Tuna plate and the Chicken Fingers plate and both were very good. The 4 sides we chose between the two plates were Roasted Rosemary potatoes, Brussel sprouts, Mac n Cheese and Asparagus. The only one that didn't impress was the Mac-n-Cheese. We also ordered a slice of the chocolate vanilla cake and were ok with it. Oh and we loved the slice of thick, toasted, rustic bread that comes with the plates..yumm. Excellent food, just right portions and great ambience. Will be one of our goto places in our new neighborhood!!
My first time to this location. It's much larger than it looks from the outside. My son and I enjoyed their awesome patio seating. My favorite dish is their salad with the fried chicken tenders, Nashville Hot style, and honey mustard dressing on the side. It's so good! The portion is huge, and there are two tenders, so you can definitely share if you want a light lunch. Highly recommend. I think their Nashville Chicken is the best I've had in So Cal.
Ofelia was so delightful and making sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. She is a sweetheart! Food is great but service even better!
Visited this location for the second time and both times have been a delight. The food and ambiance was on point but what really made our experience extra special was the professionalism and attentiveness of employee Ofelia. She was delivering exceptional customer service, and even went out of her way to make us feel comfortable during our time here, by clearing our plates and making sure we were ok where we were sitting. She specifically made US feel safe, because she was very aware of cleaning and disinfecting the table we were at and the ones around us. Thank you Ofelia for the great attentive customer service!
The food here is great and very fresh but I’m most pleased with the customer service. I had some trouble figuring things out on the menu and Maya was there to help me out and walk me through the ordering process. Maya was friendly and shared an anecdote about the seasonal kombucha. They were personable and gave great recommendations that will have me craving more!
Amazing food and even better service. Ofelia was thee nicest busser I've had the pleasure of meeting. Friendly, kind and made our experience incredible. Urabn plates is a great and the service is 10/10.
While I enjoy your food, the service and time need MAJOR reform. It is on rare occasion that food comes out in a timely manner. I placed an order for pick up and followed the instructions provided in the confirmation email. I arrived at the restaurant, checked in, provided my vehicle information (as they indicated someone would bring my order out to me), and waited. And waited. And waited. Only to find out that you guys don't do curbside pick up (as indicated/implied in the email) and my food sat on the pick up shelf for 15 minutes. Don't make it seem like you guys provide curbside service for your customers if that's not the case. I would have gone in and gotten my order much sooner had I known better.Please do better. It is almost embarrassing.
My partner and I thoroughly love their sandwiches ; however, usually it’s a along wait to get your food and have yet to receive our order. I truly hope they come up with a better system to handle orders when it’s this busy for the future. Btw Ofelia provided excellent customer service.
