It's no New Shanghai in Lake Forest! That remains our #1 always. This was ok. Doing some things fairly well, but not amazing. Ok flavors, but I wasn't thrilled with the quality of the meat. Cream cheese wontons had little flavor. Paper wrapped chicken had no flavor and was questionable as it if it was completely cooked inside. Teo main dishes tasted very similar though claimed to be different sauces. Busy and understaffed, so seemed to be in a hurry. In the past this place was great now they think I'm trying to rob them when asking for white rice, the lady bought an empty bowl when I ask for more. I used restaurants all my life you request an item you pay unless otherwise stated. Rude overall
I went in and ordered to go and I was def disappointed. Three of my four items were very good but the Kung pao was very bad. Chicken was all fat and there were no water chestnuts. Now I’ll go onto the grumpy unhappy woman who took my order. She was terrible! Mean and unhappy person, i asked her if she was unhappy and she argued that she was a very happy person ! Woah , she scares me. You should of been there. Hopefully she will be nicer next time.
You need to double check the price of food immediately that you pick your order because they may charge you more than the listed prices. Upon receipt of check, I figured out a different price for the food that I ordered and the female owner or server negligently pointed the bottom of menu saying price subject to change anytime. They should have changed the menu with updated prices. This will absolutely mislead a lot of customers with limited budget like me. What if I had only $10 and later on they said $12 in total due to random price change? The female owner didn't seem to care about all these and kept on insisting the price subject to change, OK, Ok? Reluctantly I said ok.Plus the food that I ordered was all soggy and now I had a stomach ache and took 2 pills of Toms.
This place has quickly become one of my absolute favorite spots. Great service. Amazing food. I highly recommend it.
Best authentic Chinese food. So delicious. I order & pick up & I'm an hour away!

For the most part everything here is really delicious. But one of my go-to meals from here is the hot and sour soup. :)
