A bit hard to find as it is within Copper Blues but the chicken sandwich and fries were good. Can't wait for the bar to re-open for entertainment and drinks.
Thought I'd try somewhere new for fried chicken, definitely won't try them again. Their fries and tenders are way oversalted. The coleslaw was just not good, the veggies seemed old and wilted, I literally couldn't eat it. We also tried the cinnamon cayenne snickerdoodle which from the name I would have assumed some sort of heat or something, nope, just tasted like a completely totally average snickerdoodle, definitely not worth then price. My husband did like the pickles and the ketchup mixture.
So good! The Nashville Host Chicken Sandwich is the best in OC. The bun is amazing. After eating it for lunch I ordered a bunch of wings to watch the football game with later that evening. The wings were so big and perfectly cooked and seasoned. I woke up craving more!
Fancy, overpriced, bland, oily chickenReally beautiful looking sandwich with no soul, KFC tastes better than this sandwich.Got the Nashville hot, it's hard to explain how bland it was, it was like losing all ur taste buds before eating this sandwich. Complete let down for how beautiful this sandwich was.French fries were over priced.By the time I got to the chicken wings, dinner was a complete bust, nothing good to say about them.Would avoid this place, try popeyes instead.
when I thought 2020 couldn't get ANY WORSE...Had an incredibly horrible experience here today to say the least. Service was nice so nothing wrong to say about that. But literally everything else was horrible. Maybe it was just bad luck today but I mean I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had this situation. After getting off of work, I wanted to try a new place in Brea. I've actually been going around to try as many Nashville Hot Chicken spots in the area. Poultrygram had to be the worst of them. I'm sorry, but that was the experience for me at least. What went wrong? First of all, both the box and bag to hold the food is made of paper. Oil soaks through paper, but rarely plastic bags. If you're serving all fried foods, this should have been thought of. There was a crazy amount of the Nashville hot oil soaking through the bottom of the chicken tender box which then went through the paper bag which then soaked into my fabric car seat... how lovely :/I had to spend my time trying to scrub out the oil when that is something I shouldn't have had to worry about in the first place. I get that we want to save the planet, but you have to think about what type of food you're serving and any potential risks it would have. I'm not saying that every person will have this happen to them, but the fact that it happened to me means that it can happen to someone else. Was the food okay at least? Absolutely not. First of all, what they served was not chicken tenders. If you call it tenders, it should be from that part of the chicken. I noticed right away just from the shape of it. It was flattened and was obvious once all the breading fell off that it was a chicken breast. Not only from the shape but from the texture of the meat. I know what chicken breast is and it was very disappointing to expect one thing and get another. Talking about disappointing, the breading was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I'm not the Hulk and I don't have super human strength, yet holding a chicken "tender" made me feel powerful. The breading fell off with little force. Even picking it up was difficult. The breading was sliding right off and by the time I was dipping it into the ranch, it was a bare piece of chicken. The recipe needs to change. Theres no point in having it coated if it falls off before I can even eat it.The seasoning was also disappointing. The chicken meat itself was pretty bland and did not taste like it was brined in any way. The powder they put on the outside was so uneven. This led to me wanting to spit it out. The seasoning was very uneven on the breading and was VERY salty in certain spots. I seriously felt like I drank a cup of salt water, which is why I felt the need to spit it out. For something called Nashville Hot, it was barely spicy at all for me.I would not come here again. I sincerely wanted to like this place but the chicken was not good and the packaging was not fit for the food they serve which resulted in me having to clean up something that should not have happened. The food is not worth it and they have a lot to work on before I ever decide to try it again.
