Great eats. I've been eating here for over 20 yrs.
We both had the beef dip combo, I had Zucchini and onion rings and the person I was with had onion rings and fries, very good meal a little expensive but worth it as a special treat but not very often due to price The people were very friendly and helpful, they are very generous with extra ranch dressing and extra au jus I really appreciated that. Totally enjoyed our meals and would recommend.
If you're looking for a restaurant that serves large portions, John's Place is where you want to go. It's a little pricey but for the amount of food you get, it's worth it.
Very busy for a Sat. at almost closing time but have a great time there, food is good and lots of it. The staff were very helpful and I love them. I was with a friend and he loved it too. He has been there before and this was my first time and was impressed by the staff and food Deli style.
Don't eat here. This guy waters his grass at least 4 days a week & let's the water run for at least an hour each time. The lawn is so flooded it flows across the sidewalk into the street and flows all the way down to the Subway before entering the storm drain. He's wasting all our future drinking water.
Always a favorite spot to eat and enjoy their favorable hamburger combos... clean, efficient and friendly service awaits all who visit here... yummy food!
My family has been coming here for about 30 years (!) and it has maintained solid quality. Perhaps bewitched by nostalgia, sure, but I think John's makes a great burger, still my favorite veg burger (get that with cheese). Breakfast here is something of a rite of passage.
It's like everything you want. The food is always great, they give you lots of it, and the prices are decent. Higher than they used to be, but it's happening with every restaurant now. And they have freshly made onion rings, not frozen! I think the batter is a corn meal: whatever they use, it's outstanding. I bring people there all the time, and I haven't had one unhappy person. Simple, no atmosphere (I don't like paying for atmosphere), clean ... what else do you want!!
Bombness for sure! Have only tried breakfast bit I image Everything is good here judging from that! Can't wait to try lunch and dinner!
Was there at 7:45pm website says your open til 9:00pm turned me away said everything is cleaned up. I will never go back to your business, I'm very unhappy
