It was my first time trying Green Tomato Grill. My friend pick they place because his wife had a lot of food allergies. I got the Chile Verde Bowl with beef with a side of crispy cauliflower bites. My friend got the southwestern salad with salmon and sweet potato fries. The bowl was good but small and the salmon was very fishy. The best thing was the cauliflower bites. I spent about $50 for to entrees, 2 sides and a drink. Overall the food was okay nothing special. And always, Thank you for the food!
First time there staff was very helpful with great suggestions. Comfortable atmosphere we were able to sit in the patio with my fur niece. Delicious food

My wife and I recently changed to a Mediterranean gluten-free diet. Vacations can be hard on diets but finding the Green Tomato Grill was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the various meal options along with an organic lemonade so much we ate there every day we could. The staff was very friendly and remembered us with each repeat visit. I wish we had this restaurant back in Northern Virginia.
Ordered a grilled beef Greek wrap. A pleasant surprise that it was! Fresh veggies and tender meat. I really liked it. Note that is not the typical Mediterranean flavor, this is something different. But I wasn’t expecting to be so. Healthy food!!
Seems like a healthier option than other restaurants or fast food establishments. Good tasting food. Good service. Some friendly staff. Yummy dessert options (also holiday themed). Nice atmosphere. Bathrooms available.
So I ordered a salad today and I forgot to tell them no dressing. I asked if they could remake it the waitress said "Yes, we can do that for you no worries" and took the salad back. But then she came back with the same salad and told me that the people in the back said No. So they told me to buy another salad and that they would just throw away the messed up one. Unfortunately I had to buy another salad and I told them to just transfer my avocado to the new salad and the lady almost charged me for my same avocado from the previous salad! They contradicted themselves because they said they couldn't take the salad back, yet they took the salad back to transfer my avocado? I'm still sitting at the location and I'm disappointed that they had terrible customer service.
I enjoyed the delicious fish tacos with salmon and fresh avocado with a side of sweet potato fries. I thought it was a great value for the money. My husband had a Greek salad with chicken and it was fresh and yummy. We appreciated the healthy choices and we sat outside in the fresh air and had a nice visit with friends. I wish we could get one of these in Temple, Texas!!!
This place is great. Very fresh and tasty, polite and courteous staff. Clean and organized. Good parking. I had the teriyaki bowl which was really good topped with the tofu which was absolutely terrible - tasted like cardboard. Ah well, at least they had a great variety of sauces to cover it up.
Absolutely amazing food! My family and I are in California on vacation, and it’s surprising how hard it is to find good gluten free and vegan options where we’re staying in Buena Park. We decided to try the surrounding area and found this place today in Brea. There is food for everyone in my family - vegan for me, gluten-free & dairy-free for my sister, and chicken & beef for the rest of the family. Our food was delicious. I had the vegan char-burger, which tasted great. It was cooked perfectly, and all of the toppings complemented each other so well. My sister really loved her gluten-free wrap and the hummus with gluten-free flatbread, but her favorite was the dessert. The strawberry cupcake was both vegan and gluten free, and she said it was one of the best gluten free desserts she’s ever eaten.We will definitely be going back again, possibly tomorrow.
