The food was amazing! The coffee was excellent and I haven't had coffee that good in a long time. All the creamers were on the table and I could select from anything that I wanted. The waitresses we're very nice and friendly and frequently made sure we were taken care of. A full plate of biscuits and gravy was only $5.50 and the coffee was 3. The eggs breakfast was really good and the cinnamon cornbread was extremely savory. I recommend getting the side of sour cream with any dishes you order it's very good!

Great chicken fried steak dinner, salad and cornbread. A ton of food! Everything was delicious. I sat solo at the counter. My server was very nice and informative. You could tell she really loved working there. She was welcoming and added to the first time dining experience here.

Food was awesome service was great I had the chicken fried steak burger with an egg bacon cheese it was awesome my wife had pot roast which was just a big chunk of good pot roast with gravy mashed potatoes and they gave her extra gravy

CASH ONLY.Full of customers.I liked the corned beef hash. Not a fan of the broccoli and cheese soup. I was not prepared to hear from the server if he could keep the change (cash only) - forced me to give >25% gratuity when we were not fully satisfied. Not cool.

I like the ambience you feel inside the restaurant. Food is tasty, ask for the hot chocolate which is delicious.Get there early beacause after 10 am you’ll wait for a long time. Even if the restaurant is full you need to wait outside, so that get ready for that.

Ate dinner here with a big family and EVERYONE was happy. When you achieve that you get 5 stars from me. As a traveler to California one thing I’ve noted is the freshness and quality of salads and vegetables, pretty much everywhere we’ve eaten. This place was no different. The pot roast (served until it’s gone) was fantastic and the cornbread was perfect. It’s one of those places that’s so good you want to go back for another meal just to try something else.

We try to avoid the big corporate restaurants and seek out the mom and pop restaurants. We came here for breakfast and happy that we did. When we walked in it was busy but luckily they had a table available for the three of us. We ordered the vegetarian omelette, house potatoes, biscuit and gravy, hash browns, and a short stack of pancakes. The food turned out very good and flavorful and there wasn't a long wait either. The service was spot on even despite the employees running around without a break.

The food was fresh and very good. I had pot roast (served until it’s gone), mashed potatoes and a great dinner salad. Corn bread was hot, fresh and heavy (the way it should be). My kids all liked their stuff, which is unusual. Great place to take a family for dinner!

The food was awsome!!! From the chicken pot pie to the pastrami sandwich, French toast, sausage. There was 4 adults and 5 kids we all finished our food. In fact on Monday before we left we ate there again. We didn't care if there was an hour and half wait!!

Took a chance as our first choice wasn't doing take out Sunday night. Looks like an old diner lots of charm and history. We just wanted a couple salads with some protein for dinner and they had a few options. Had one with salmon and the other with steak. Not expecting too much but honestly both were really good. We came back next day, tried something different and again really good! Staff both days were very friendly. They do only take cash which we had but if you don't they have an ATM. Parking lot has a few spaces or can park on street.
