Just lovely as it always was. Haven’t dined in the village for awhile with Covid etc., but did so tonight. It was perfect. One tag not mentioned is service- and that’s always the magic. Josh was Great! Nice additions to the menu as well as old favorites. So nice to be there again. Hats off to Julie and her staff. From the greeting to the check- just lovely?. Thank you. ?jo
Very good service. Delicious food
Overall great dining experience!!
Quaint, with a splash of elegance. GREAT Calamari! Food was delicious. I had flat iron steak. So good. Wonderful wine menu as well. I highly recommend. I hear their Pear Martini is a must try. Next time! We’ll be up again soon.
Starting from waitress over the interior with tables and booths over the obvious food and beverage menu till the last word: „anything else“ is this restaurant pure American. Food (delicious anyway). Good job
My husband and I were here on business. We stopped here hoping the food was good. It was excellent. The Peppercorn Ranch was amazing and the salad big for a dinner salad. My husband loved his Caesar salad. I had the rack of lam medium to medium rare cooked to perfection and the vegetables that come with this are out of this world delicious. My husband had the pasta bolognese and it was delicious. The sour dough bread they serve is dangerous it is so good. With tip it was $120. We had water. It was worth every penny. We travel a lot and this was a treasure find. The servers were all 5 star. Everyone was so attentive and expert!
If you want delicious food, happy service and a very relaxing meal you have come to the right place! Only one gluten-free meal on the menu but they will do a lettuce wrap. The service was outstanding and so attentive!
Had dinner here on a recent Saturday night and really enjoyed it. We weren't able to get a reservation, but we went to the restaurant early in the evening and were able to slide in. They do have outdoor seating, however it closes at 4pm. I had their Flat Iron Steak and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the peppercorn crust. Despite the warning it was spicy, I didn't find it to be that bad, though I do like pepper. I recommend skipping the Peppercorn Cognac Cream Sauce it comes with and asking for some of the Peppercorn Mushroom-Cognac Sauce. I tried both and in my opinion the Mushroom-Cognac sauce was a better accompaniment.
Had the artichoke-stuffed chicken, chicken breast so tender, creamy sauce and artichoke stuffing so delicious, best sauced veggie I had at a restaurant. Big portion, well-worth the price. Had a great time!
Yes, this place is super pricey, BUT it is well worth the money spent if you're looking for elegant dining in a "rural" mountain. This restaurant is definitely worth the price if you're traveling up the San Bernardino mountains for a romantic getaway.I'm not a huge fan of clam chowder, but this place far exceeds any other place I've eaten in regards to flavor and presentation. Our waitress was an absolute doll. I would've loved to tip her more if the tab didn't already include a huge gratuity. We still gave her the standard 20%, but I'm not a fan of being forced into gratuity than expected to graciously tip, if we are satisfied with the services.Overall, it was a nice experience and you can't really put a price tag on a romantic evening out with your significant other, so I don't regret dining here. Two entrées, an appetizer, and one drink, were well over $200. But the lamb was cooked perfectly, the ahi tuna steak was phenomenal, and the stuffed lobser tail was absolutely delicious. Don't waste your time with the mashed sweet potatoes, though; there was nothing special about them.
