This was some of the best Mexican food we've had, we did show up 30 minutes before close and the staff was super nice and understanding. The chicken enchiladas were some of the best I've had, only complaint was it needed a little salt, the salsa was better than 98% of the Mexican restaurants I've been to, the chile relleno was better than any I've ever had. Would definitely recommend eating here and next time I'm in big bear this is going to be a permanent stop!
Table side Guac is made in the back... assuming it has to do with Covid. But it was goodShrimp Cocktail was good. I didn't care for the ketchup on the avocado garnish, hot sauce would've been better or nothing. I did enjoy the cucumber, nice & refreshing! The service was good! They had more than enough floor staff to ensure your needs are met quickly.Cadillac Margaritas were good, tasted like fresh lime juice which is sometimes hard to find.
Good food! Marcos and Carmen took good care of us. There whole team had excellent team work. We will be back.
Friendly and welcoming staff, everyone is very attentive, short wait times to be seated considering how busy a weekend can be, authentic and delicious food, 10/10 would recommend and come back again when in the area. They have a variety of options on their menu you can’t go wrong and i just can’t believe it’s this good way up here in the snow.
I use to love it here. A few years back it use to be my favorite place to eat in big bear because they can these AMAZING homemade flour tortillas. They were soooooo good! Apparently the machine broke a few years back and no mechanic could fix it?. Service is good. The food is OK now. HOPEFULLY they could get a good mechanic to fix it or get a new machine.
Great company and great customer service and great products and great prices and great food ?
Hands down worst Mexican food I've had in my entire life. Service was fine. Went here for lunch on 10/15/2021.We wanted to go here because they had a molcajete on the menu, but at $44.95, we passed.Ordered the #11 carne asada plate ($15.75) that came with rice and beans. No joke, the rice was cool. There wasn't any flavor to the food whatsoever. I ended up leaving the rice and beans and trying to make a taco out of the tough, not even hot, carne asada.I have Celiac disease and tried to pick what looked like it wouldn't have gluten and I still got sick afterward. Even if I didn't have Celiac, the food was so tasteless and cool rice is weird. So it would still be 1 star.My husband had the #24 chile rellanos plate for $13.25 and he said it was tasteless.
Definitely the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Absolutely no flavor and also on the expensive side. We sat outside and my son who happens to have allergy’s wasn’t allowed to eat his sandwich that he brought even though we had 3 others purchasing food.

The stars are for a nice deck view, cheap tacos on Tuesday, and friendly waitstaff.Gringos that don't like any spice will love this place. I dont think Ive ever tasted such bland tacos and chicken soup in my life! I seriously dumped an entire bowl of runny tomatoe salsa into the soup to give it flavor. The only saving grace was the salsa did have fresh cilantro and onions in it.One other note, it is horribly Loud inside. I definitely reccomend sitting outside and maybe just order margaritas.
