Hacienda was a delicious authentic Mexican restaurant. We were welcomed by the nicest staff. They quickly seated us. They bought out chips and salsa with water as we sat. The green salsa was my fave! It was so spicy I loved it!The tortilla soup came out nice and hot for this cold weather. Loved the huge triangle chucks of cheese. They load the soup with so much chicken too.My fish taco was delicious! Loved the grilled ahi choice they put in it. I added that green salsa to it. Didn’t get a chance to eat my carne asada taco because I was so full. But because it had so much meat I added some on top of my Mexican rice and green salsa and it was BOMB.COM! The rice was my favorite because it was so fluffy and yummy. You could just taste the tomato in the rice and slight garlic.My husband devoured his enchiladas. I tasted the pulled beef one and it was yummy. Nice and tender too!At the end they brought me a chocolate covered strawberry. I was so full but wanted dessert so this nice surprise was a great treat! I loved their hospitality. Whenever we visit we are definitely going to stop by again!The whole meat total was $49.
This place is absolutely delicious. The food is so mouth watering. I had chicken floutas as with rice and beans…..PHENOMENAL. Hubby had ground beef enchiladas with rice and beans and was in heaven. Good size potions as neither of us were able to finish our food. Restaurant has a very nice homey feel and the staff are super friendly and attentive. If you’re in Big Bear and want delicious sit down Mexican food, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO.
Great food, easy to order meal(s), servers and restaurant host/management, were great at making sure we had anything needed to have a nice meal.
The chili verde was delicious tender and quite spicy but so full of flavor. Hubby got the pastor but didn’t realize it had pineapple in it. That was a disappointment for us. Not for us anyway. Salsa beans rice everything had great flavor. Pricey but great quality and service are worth it.
The only reason it even got any stars was because the kids meals were good and the waitress was very nice. The flautas were disgusting though and when my husband told the guy who looked and acted like the manager I didn't like them he just took them and left without a word and never came back to our table. No let me get you something else, no offer to remove them from the bill even though I only are 1 bite barely. Will not be going back

Always great food and service. drinks are topped off before I had to ask. foods always fresh and hot.
