Always enjoy eating the food, when grandkids visit always ask for me to order food from them. Highly recommend!!
Not a fast food restaurant so it took a while but was very worth the wait. the burgers where really good and fries where fresh. The staff was extremely nice. definitely coming here again.
Be warned, the wait is real and they have plenty of signs. Even if it doesn't seem that busy just be aware you may need to wait at least 20 minutes. That said if you like a good burger and tasty no frills fries this is the spot. If you like supporting small business with a nice lady working the register then this is the spot. If you don't care about that stuff and want something fast then you'd be better off going to Carl Jr's or another fast food joint. Also parking may be a bit suspect if it's busy, not the biggest lot.
Fun environment. Duke was amazing. Director tastes like In n Out but better. Fries/Tater Tots are great with a side of fry sauce, by themselves they’re only good.Notified of slow service by signs inside but still kinda bugged by it. Worth the wait.
Everything but the burger itself was good. The Patty was mushy and not all beef like it advertises and under cooked. Got a half an order of onion rings. Literally 5 regular size onion ring for $4. If they change the beef Patty and serve a proper portion of a side. I bet it would be really good
Our local tour guide recommended this as a favorite eatery, so we had to try it on our last day in Big Bear. We arrived just as it opened, and I'm glad we did because a line formed fast! We were in and out in 45 minutes, but there are signs that let you know to expect up to a 45 min wait for your food during busy times. The staff were very friendly and seemed to really love their work! We ordered their cheeseburgers, regular fries, sweet potato fries, and pickle fries--everything was amazing! My son is a burger fiend and he said this place ranks amongst the best--similar to but better than In-n-Out (burgers are served with toppings like animal style). I really loved the pickle fries and got them served with ranch. Reminded me of deep-fried pickles in the South! Give them a try, but get there early before the lines get nuts!
Excellent Burger! This is not fast food, everything is cooked to order, but the burger was worth the wait. I had the Leading Man, which is a cheeseburger with grilled onions. Everything was delicious, the meat, cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions, and especially the bun. This is not a chain or franchise, this is family owned and run restaurant. There is plenty of parking and seating both inside and outside.
Great burgers, freshly cooked, juicy and huge. We got the Director burgers FX style and a side of cheese curds. Everything was delicious. There's a reason there can be a line to get in and a wait to get your food. We will be back.
This burger joint is the best. Never had a better burger, tops in n out by a long shot. Everything is made with care. If your in big bear, I highly recommend this place for your lunch.
Went here with my 3 kids the other day for a birthday lunch. One of my daughters asked me to leave a 5 star review because they have the best fries and burgers in town. I agree, their fries are absolutely delicious. I was disappointed they had no milkshakes but they are remodeling and patience is a virtue. Worth a stop in for a burger and definitely fries.
