We loved the Poke appetizer, a generous amount of large cut pieces of Ahi; a Carnitas plate, large enough for two people and yet I find myself eating far past the point where I was full; a salad; and our 3 year old son enjoyed the cheese quesadilla.I'm looking forward to finding more gems on the menu.
I ate my food before I took a pic!! So delicious!! We had the avocado ? salad with salsa. My Mojito was soooo..yummy! Big Bear is great town!!
I been here before and the first time was great. The food was unique and delicious. How ever this time around wasn't so great. Not sure if it was the food item ordered or the cook. But last time the flavors was on point. This time every food ordered taste alike...not even there famous avocado salad was the same. May be they had a different cook. I hope they bring the flavors back...it's the only reason I came back.
I am so so on this place. I found the owner / serivce to be very so so, the vibe to also be so so and the food also so so. For example, I got the torta and while the meat was good, the bread was the opposite of fresh. A couple of french fries for filling… I don’t know.. nothing impressive here. 3 stars because it was relatively cheap.
We absolutely loved Gaby's! Ordered Gaby's Veggie Burrito, Avocado Salad, combo Chile Relleno + Cheese Enchilada and 2 house margaritas. Everything was delicious! Gaby is such a sweet human. We felt welcomed right from the start and our food was ready pretty quickly. The ambiance is cozy and homie. ¡Muchas gracias señoras para la comida! You two are killing it in the kitchen!
probably some of the best food i’ve had in my life and i mean it! everything was sooooo flavorful and i couldn’t stop eating it was good! my one piece of advice is come here with an empty stomach cause you’ll leave stuffed! gabby and her daughter are so sweet and amazing to their customers felt like i was part of the family too!
Encontramos el lugar de casualidad, llegamos a Big Bear estabamos buscando un lugar para almorzar y vimos la bandera de Bolivia??❤ sorpresa! pq como Bolivianos no hay muchos lugares donde degustar nuestra comida así que nos emocionado y fue mejor todavia conocer a Doña Gaby que es muy amable, hoy comimos delicioso! un menú que se ajusto con lo que queriamos comer! Si vienes a Big Bear definitivamente tienes que venir a comer a Gaby's Latin Flavors?
Decent food option in Big Bear that usually isn’t too busy. The pozole is fantastic!
I must say, I am very surprised how delicious the food is here. I’m only use to eating LA Latin (Central and southern Latin) food which is excellent. This was placed on my list “to go” as a placed to try a year ago…due to the pandemic they closed early and didn’t have a chance to try the food.This place will be my new place to go location this time going forward every time me and family travel to Big Bear. And will mention this restaurant to my family and friends for sure. Thanks to the owner for being cordial and friendly to my wife this evening. We see you soon, thanks again.
Great mexican food with a bolivian twist. Carnitas plate was very good. Had nachos as appetizer which was great also. Washed it down with a couple mojitos. Highly recommended!!!
