Wished we went there earlier in our trip because we probably would have gone back! We stopped here on our way out of Big Bear this morning for breakfast and we were so pleasantly surprised. The staff were super friendly and helpful - no b.s., just real, nice people. We got a cinnamon crepe and a double cream salmon crepe (with spinach and garlic butter - their suggestion) and loved both! The coffee was great too.
We got the gourmand, the double cream and the dark side as well as several specialty drinks. All of the crepes were delicious. We waited a while, but had a big order, so far was understandable. The cook on all of the crepes was perfect and the balance of toppings was great too. Highly recommend?
Well worth the wait! Their service seems slow, but it is worth the wait! We got the Big Bear Fog... (if your a tea drinker this is a treat!) and the Black Forest Cake (coffee drinkers dessert!). Both were wonderful! Cute little areas to sit, but fills up fast. Kind and courteous staff.
Tried a few places that served coffee and cafe crepe was the best.Honey lavender was perfectly smooth & nut heavy in the lavender also with oatmilk. Reasonably priced if you're looking for something good
I love coming here whenever I am in the area. They offer a concise and delightful menu of savory and sweet crepes and also several hot and cold drinks.
This little place has delicious crepes, coffee, and tea ! ( I had a Nutella crepe with a lavender latte ) Their service is so nice, all very chill and friendly people Their lavender items are definitely my favs ! All of my family had and loved them, give it a try !
Came back after going yesterday and I don't regret it at all. The guy that was helping me was super friendly. (didn't catch his name unfortunately) I tried their ham & cheese crepes as well as their Nutella crepes and they are absolutely delicious.I also got whipped cream and a hazelnut latte. Best brunch ever. Also a great way to end my trip as I'm heading home. I hope to come again sometime in the future.
The wait was a bit long but totally worth it for the quality and taste of food and coffee you get. The service was great, the pricing is reasonable and the crepes are amazing. We got the cinnamon crepe (delicious), the complete (amazing), a caramel cold brew per his recommendation and a honey lavender latte. No complaints here and would 10/10 recommend!
Br prepared to wait over 40min (yes, seriously).. but hear this out. I wish they were more consistent. I loved the fireside the first time I had it, the second time I ordered it, it was almost completely different outside of the crepe itself. The caramel was less and had a runnier consistency (not from the warmth of crepe), there was no whipped cream the second time around, which was super disappointing as that really makes this one... and the worst part, was the apple inside mixture tasted completely different. It's a but if a bummer when these touristy places bank off of tourism and not repeat customers. The jelly crepes are very good and so far have been consistent. The dark side with bananas is a little hit n miss on banana ratio. One time it's well proportioned and this last time it was overloaded with bananas ..The wait here.... is next level LONG. Wait times when there is no one outside is the better part of 15min. If there is anyone around, be prepared for half hour to as much as EVEN AN HOUR if you want a crepe. My first visit was about 35min, second visit was 30min, 3rd visit was 47min and this last visit was a lull, no one in line, and was 19 min.The coffee wait however is fairly normal. Their coffee is smooth too btw I definitely recommend over big bear roasters nearby.Anyway over all I would recommend this place, I just wish they could find some ingredients that they can stick to.
Crepe was good but very expensive. Americano was not very good and did not taste like it her espresso in it and was so hot it burnt my tongue.
