Long time favorite that never disappoints. Wonderful service, perfect ambiance, outstanding food.
Among the top 10 of our favorite restaurants in our neighborhood. Miss some items from previous menus, in particular the chicken paillard.
Seems like the staffing challenge hit home during this visit. Our server was outstanding (Geoff) and man did he do his best. But a large private party and the 40% occupancy left us with very long wait times for our meals and drinks. Refills were painfully hard to come by - 17 minutes for a drink order. The food quality was impeccable and we were appreciative that Geoff voluntarily ordered a replacement 18 oz New York which was due to the kitchen being slow. The capper was the coffee was cold. We also witnessed a couple waiting at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before they got seated. Canât say enough nice things about Geoff but he was fighting an uphill battle. We are Palm die hards and will be back soon. Maybe not on a Wednesday.
This is my special occasion Resturant. Always had a wonderful time. Foods are good as well as wonderful service.
A good old standard for good food and service. Nice quiet place to have dinner with friends.
We had a very lovely meal, everything was great and our server , Thomas (TJ), was fantastic! Thank you!
new ownership clearly felt. all good things come to an end.
The new owners have done a wonderful job of bringing the food back to better than ever. Genuine attention is being paid to each offering. Caesar salad is excellent, however the portion is VERY small. Shrinp cocktail is fresh, nice and chilled and firm--however they now give 4 shrimp. The new menu has an Italian leaning direction, and at a much much higher quality than the previous management.
Our favorite Palm of all. Always a pleasure to dine here, in our neighborhood.
So sad to say that The Palm is a shadow of its former self. Corporate chain ownership has removed all of The Palmâs charm, but hasnât replaced it with consistency or reliability. Everyone in our party was disappointed with their experience, which left me feeling as though Iâd done nothing so much as set fire to $800. A nice but woefully inexperienced, lackluster food preparation, and a kitchen thatâs regularly out of menu basics early in the evening, have changed a once favorite dependable dinner spot into a place I have vowed never to return to.
