A great historical experience! Very nice staff throughout and the ambience is great. Very nostalgic, yet rustic hotel. You can tell they have changed very little from when it opened so many years ago and I appreciate that
Our stay at the BHH was perfect, from start to finish! Upon check in, we were thrilled to find out we had received a double upgrade. Our upgraded room had a spacious balcony with a 4-person dining table. It was perfect for us to order room service and enjoy it outside! All of the staff members were phenomenal and so helpful. The pool area is beautiful and clean, with delicious poolside food and drinks available from the Cabana Cafe. Dinner at the Polo Lounge topped off our experience! Although pricey, this hotel is worth it due to how exceptional everything is!
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Wonderful room, wonderful staff and great food and drink. We visited as part of a 16 night tour of California (we are form the UK). By far the best hotel on or tour and overall probably the best we’ve stayed in worldwide. Pretty much faultless. We will return!
The most amazing customer service from EVERYONE.Every single department from the wait staff, to the front desk staff to room service...everyone! The room was so comfortable, the pool was fabulous, the grounds are lovely. I only wish I stayed there longer. It was amazing! Can't wait to go back!
My husband and I were not staying at the hotel but we wanted to go and have a drink at The Polo Lounge (for the experience ya know) in the evening. We walked in late afternoon to inquire after a long hike in Malibu and we were greeted by a woman at the front desk. She was so pleasant and tbh I was shocked at how well she treated us given. She politely told us that if we wanted to come back in the evening, we'd have to change our attire, but not in an offensive way at all. We also knew that our current attire was not appropriate for the lounge. We returned that evening showered and dressed up and the same woman greeted us and walked us to the Polo Lounge. She even complimented on how good we looked! We were lucky as there were two open seats at the bar so we sat down and the bartender immediately asked us if we wanted a drink. We ordered two drinks, dessert, and coffee chatted with the bartender, and really just enjoyed the experience. The level of attentiveness and customer service was beyond expected. It was a lovely ending to our trip before heading back to Canada the next day. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I am happy to see that all guests are treated EQUALLY.
The Pink Palace remains as an exceptional and unique place to stay and experience. We travel the world, stick to 5-star hotels and resorts, and no place has this sense of place and home. While it is still a celebrity playground, one need not be a celebrity to receive exceptional treatment. Dino Rudolf was consistently attentive, and the staff in the Polo Lounge were wonderful over several evenings. We will be back many times in the future. As our 12 year old son asked “can we be like Howard Hughes and live here on and off for the next 30 years?”
The hotel is really beautiful but the staff has major attitude and are not help at all. My girlfriend by accident left 500 dollars in the booth we were sitting at we walked away for 4 minutes and it was gone. The worst part about it we have called security many times after filing a report and they are not helpful at all. We even went to the hotel and they told us they have no security office we had to use house phone to figure out. The issue is still not resolved
We had lunch at pool area very pleasant our waiter was Marcus very nice.Every place beautiful flower arrangements a pleasant afternoon !!I had a cousin visiting from Montreal !
From the moment you check in, the level of hospitality is unrivalled. Fouzia checked me in, took care of an upgraded room (courtesy of Jaron) since my level of booking was not available right away and walked me to my Bungalow. Her energy and kindness made me feel like I was being looked after by a member of my family.Everyone I have met, showed a level of care that is honestly second to none.Alan was extremely gracious with fantastic knowledge. It was nice to see Felix at breakfast and enjoy his calm and considered service.People are far too swift to complain in life and not so fast to extend their gratitude. Fouzia helped me many times and also arranged a room extension. Everyone here is simply lovely. A home away from home.Truly, I cannot thank the team at the BHH enough.
This is my second trip to the fabled "pink palace" and the team here is always so incredible. Although there are always too many people's names to get each time (but you know who you are!!), a special huge THANK YOU to Rebecca and the others of the Creative Planning Team in particular. When they heard I was coming because I was a nominee in a film festival, they put together an incredible SUGAR DIORAMA featuring edible artwork from my project! Needless to say, I was incredibly blown away when I saw it in my room. It was truly one of the most thoughtful things anyone has ever done for me. The fact that so many people in the communications chain took the time to find out what my project was and put something like that together meant the world to me. It made me feel there are still people in the world who care, and who will go the extra mile to make people feel special. Thank you for making my special little day wonderful, and I hope I can find a way to return the favor one day. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and can't wait to see you next time!!
