We had breakfast at the polo lounge and it was such a great experience. Our server Sydney was so kind and gave us great recommendations for the area since we were visiting. Highly recommend dining here! All the servers were so attentive and willing to help plus the patio was beautiful

went for Sunday brunch and did not disappoint! Lots of options on the Prix fix menu. Everything we tried was amazing! The spaghetti bolognese was my favorite. The desserts were all great as well, 10/10 would go back (but save for special occasions due to hefty, but worth it, price tag!)

We chose this as our splurge dinner spot when we were visiting Los Angeles. The restaurant is an institution and my parents had dined here more than once on their visits to the city. Our waiter Alec was absolutely amazing and we never ran low on a thing. The food is exceptional and the Chocolate Souffle, their signature dessert, is a must; just remember to order it at the same time as your meal so it will be ready. There is a beautiful outdoor courtyard area you can sit in that is well lit at night, but it was a little chilly so we opted for a booth indoors. There is really no bad place to sit in the whole place. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance, either through Open Table or directly with the hotel or restaurant.

I am ( or was) a regular customer at this place. However, the dishonest service and treatment I received during my recent visit appalled me. During my stay in Los Angeles I never encountered such a poor, obnoxious, and discourteous treatment. I arrived early one morning and the place was practically deserted and silent. Only very few tables were occupied. I kindly and politely requested the hostess to be seated outside as the area was vacant and had plenty of tables and booths available for us to enjoy what supposed to be a rewarding breakfast. To my astonishment we were told the place was full and that no tables were available, despite the fact the restaurant was close to being empty! I was shocked as I am a paying customer and a loyal patron of the hotel, and furthermore, the Beverly Hills Hotel should encourage distinguished guests to dine and stay at the hotel and its facilities, not to lie to us and do not comply to our requests! To make things worse, another hostess showed up and said to her colleague (Did you even offer them a table?) I immediately felt offended as they could have easily given me a table respectfully and could have attended to customers. I do not understand what would The Beverly Hills Hotel benefit from by treating loyal customers in such a horrible way that would turn them away from the hotel? I came in expecting impeccable service that would live up to the reputation of the hotel name, not snooty and arrogant behavior by pretending to be full while the place was empty! By treating me, a loyal customer in such an arrogant way, I will be compelled to patronize other establishments that offer adequate service and hospitality, the last thing on Earth I expected from the Polo Lounge was this behavior. Staff should be more cooperative and comply to loyal guests’ requests, that is what five-star hotels supposed to be doing! The hostess then said (I am trying to be nice to you). It was my birthday, and The Beverly Hills Hotel and the Polo Lounge should have been more appreciative to regular customers and loyal patrons. They could have give me an outside table and shown me decent service, not do the exact opposite of what a hotel or restaurants does! Even less ‘fancier’ establishments comply to patrons’ requests and customers’ needs, not drive them away by being uncooperative and snobbish! On my way out, a random customer came in and randomly asked for a coffee refill from an outside takeaway cup, another host tried to offer that customer help while we, regulars and loyal patrons of the Polo Lounge get to be treated in such a way! I hope the Polo Lounge realizes what true service means and work on gaining customers not losing loyal patrons.

We were in LA recently and hubby wanted to eat here on a Saturday night. No chance I thought, but the hotel managed to get a booking for dinner! Felt special walking up the red carpet. All the staff we interacted with were just brilliant. Friendly and professional. Credit to the hotel. We had a female server and I cant praise her highly enough and forgot her name sadly, as we were there in March and this is May! But on finding out I ate gluten free food, she pointed out what I could eat on the menu. They went off menu to make my main course which is greatly appreciated. We would love to eat here again but its quite far from Scotland but one day!

We stopped in for a burger and some drinks. The hamburger was absolutely delicious, every detail perfect. It was absurdly priced, but we were aware going in - this is the Beverly Hills Hotel. We sat at the bar and the bartender couldn't have been more attentive and thoughtful. Drinks - we had sidecars and an old fashioned - were perfectly done.

My favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. My #1 Must visit place. The experience and service is at the top level. I can truly appreciate a good service and that is what I am served on a golden platter to say the least. The atmosphere is very cozy and the pianist is just exactly what puts the cherry on the sunday for me. Truly magical.I ordered a simple salad because this is my simple pleasure and the salmon. Nothing crazy but the food was perfection. Salmon was cooked to perfection and crispy.Polo lounge never disappoints. Thank you to our waiter who I can unfortunately not remember the name. You made our night and experience truly wonderful and perfect. Always making you feel special and appreciated on top of being very attentive. To me this is what a great service stands for.One of my most cherished memory of my stay in L.A.Not my first visit and definitely not my last.

Definitely a must visit in Beverly Hills. Old school service and ambiance. Ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which were fantastic.

High Points: Walter our server, the people watching, the handout fresh fries, the whimsical desserts, the fireplace in the lobby, the photos en route to the table, the fresh printed menu, the buzz; dog friendly; great buzz Low Points: my companions had seared tuna lunch which was a huge platter; I had the crab cake which was smaller than my thumb; no music, we think one server for that many tables was a bit too much pressure on Walter to stay present; the French Vacherin by definition needs something from the freezer: ice cream or sorbet, yet what came was a gelatin w/meringue Unique Points: the history in the timeless, tacky wallpaper; the menu; the $50 tofu piece; the garden unchanged for decades; the "strawberry shortcake" dessert presentation worthy of posting

Whimsical with an astute consciousness. Dress for the occasion and mind ur manners! And yes the spirit of everyone is there and ur experience is their #1 priority (or at least that’s the way they made me feel ??).
