A lovely spot for tea and desserts. Non dairy options available as well. Looking forward to trying more interesting menu items in the future.
The restaurant is closed. Only podcast
They took our reservation but did not let us know that the kitchen was going to be close by the time of the reservation. When we arrived to the restaurant they even sit us before they told us that the kitchen was closed. It doesnât make sense not to inform your customers that your only option are the counter pastries and not the menu items when you make a lunch reservation.
I had hoped for a very special, very luxurious lunch experience for my momâs Birthday. She had seen Ladurée macaroons in their pretty little boxes online and was so excited to visit. I made lunch reservations and at first when we walked in, it looked vibrant and colorful. But upon closer notice, I was very disappointed. I have an eye for the details and coming to a coveted French cafe in Beverly Hills, of all places, you expect the very best. The chairs were cracking and falling apart on the armrests, the bottoms of the tables were kicked in, chipping, and dirty. The servers had a very casual attitude, no personality, no welcoming energy. They barely took our order then dropped the plates with no silverware, no napkins, no water. Basically everything I needed, I had to get up and ask for it. We had already spent over $100, and my mom wanted one of the macaroon boxes to take home for a memory, which I was perfectly willing to pay for. They had stacks of these cute boxes up the wall, but the girl working there gave us a rude and confused stare and refused to sell me one unless I filled it with macarons- totally ridiculous if you ask me. Yes- the food was delicious. But service and ambience are in desperate need of revival.
Good pastries great place to do some work 9/10 definitely recommend it
High-end and delicious treats! If one has a sweet tooth (? like we do!) be ready to quickly spend ?. We purchased $200+ of lovely, tasty desserts. Vegans use caution as not all items in the display case are vegan, though the restaurant food is.
A good vegan shop which offers beverages, snacks, sandwiches, pastries and macaroons. The indoors is light and airy and service, quick. Has outdoor and indoor seating space. The macaroons are worth trying in an assortment of flavors; true to Matthew Kenny’s creations, they somehow balance being subtle with bursting with flavor.Recommend visiting if you’re in the area.
Met my cousins from out of town for Sunday brunch and we had a lovely time. Food was delicious and beautifully plated. Highly recommend!
All good. It is Laduree, right? But there was a kid and his family were making some scenes.. other than that, it was all good.
I made this reservations for a late Mother’s Day tea! We were greeted by the staff several minutes upon arrival. When seated, we were handed menus that were soaked from tea or water. The legs of the tables had holes in them and the bathroom smelled. The negative experience quickly turned positive when the food arrived. The sandwiches were tasty, the macarons were beautiful and the tea fragrant. My family left happy.
