Japanese Hot Pot

The wagyu beef is fresh and tasty. They arrive in the morning from Japan everyday. We ordered two sets which are $160 and $200. Even though the portion seems small because we only have 7 pieces of beef in total, we are stuff after the whole meal. The appetizer and dessert is ok, but still a nice balance for the whole meal. The flavor of Wagyu sushi ? is mediocre consider how expensive it is. If you never experienced meat melted in your mouth then it's still worth trying. Definitely tried out their plum wine(it's not Choya), add rocks if you don't like sweet drink.Service is great but it's also expected in this level of dining. We spent $500+ after tax and tip for two people. Be prepared but enjoy! Spots are limited so remember to make reservation. Doesn't seem to save spots for walk in customers.

Dan our waiter was AMAZING! He had excellent knowledge of the menu and provide great service. We couldn't have asked for a better waiter. The food was FANTASTIC but you kind of expect that with the price of the items.

Probably one of the best Sukiyakis I've had in the US! Excellent quality of meat and service! Beef tartare is a must-order item if you love raw meat.

Food was great, and the sake and wine list were good. Service was also excellent.

Wonderful authentic Japanese beef, best quality beef in LA !

Wanna give the flavor and service for 5 star.only 1 star for the cleanliness since found a bee in the soup. $300+ bill store only offered 10% off as the solution/ settlement for that ( don't even count for the inflation rate lol.)

I’ve been here before and it’s always a great time.

Left with empty stomach. Overpriced and not worth it. Won’t come again :(

There are no words to adequately express the experience at Ima. The food is delicate and extraordinarily tasty; the textures so wonderful to feel in my mouth! The servers optimally are working with not more than 3 tables at a time and the restaurant has only 8 tables. The beauty and grace with which the servers prepare food table side is soothing and inspiring. I feel so cared for and at peace here. The pace at which each course is presented and prepared is also noteworthy. Tak was our server/guide this time and I can only say to him and the chef— Domo arigato gozaimasu! ?? I can’t wait to come back!

Been here many times. Best Japanese sukiyaki I have ever had. Best wagyu I have ever had. I absolutely love this place.
