I was part of a large group of family and friends enjoying a luncheon celebrating a bar mitzvah. We were seated in a special room which was festive with other families celebrating. The restaurant is bright with a great vibe. Tables were packed inside and also outside on the sidewalk on a beautiful LA day. The courses were delicious and staff excellent. Highly recommend.
I do not know if the food was not great because it was Monday or we just picked specials that were not good. The salad with rock shrimp and avocado dressing was over dressed and the shrimp appeared to be cooked several days ago and was tasteless. The John Dory was over cooked and the peas, fava beans, and artichoke was so over cooked that they were mush. The crab risotto with and blood orange zest was the best part of the meal. You have to pay for bread and it was served warm but over cooked so you could not eat it as it was so hard that it would break your teeth. I was disappointed as the reviews were good. The staff was friendly.
The food was excellent, but the setting area was not lovely floors were very duty. I try not to look down so I can enjoy the meal.
We got a great table on the sidewalk and enjoyed a fabulous evening that included great food, atmosphere, and people watching. This corner spot in Beverly Hills is a gem for spotting celebrities, as you will almost certainly see them in the restaurant or walking by if you are there for an hour or so. From a food standpoint, the menu is diverse and everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal. Service was impeccable and the prices are actually good for Beverly Hills as well. A top-notch experience all around.
Risotto with lamb rack , grilled calamari salad and ravioli with ricotta and spinach around $90 USD + tip. Excellent service and food.
I have passed this restaurant many times and always think it looks very cool. A lot of outside tables. So I went with my son and friends. Service was excellent and my starter calamari was as good as I’ve had. I decided to just have a spaghetti bolognese. Unfortunately it wasn’t very good. So I feel if an Italian restaurant can’t get that right there is something wrong. My friends pasta with truffles was excellent and my son’s ravioli (called Justin Beiber for some reason) was lovely as well. I enjoyed the ambience and would go back again.
Very tasty food , nice servers ! We ordered risotto with lamb, spinach and mushrooms ravioli and one grilled calamari salad. Exquisite presentation and taste!!! I would definitely come back when in Beverly Hills!!!!
We loved this restaurant! Everything was great: ambience, service and food spectacular. Really delicious the lobster and crab pasta ?, the calamari ? and insalate trittico with arugula raddichio and mango !! Deserts were delicious as well, tiramisu and pannacota with strawberries ?. Can’t wait to go back! Grazie
The food is DIVINE here. May even go as far as to say this is the best Italian food I’ve ever tried. We got the Arancini, Burrata, and Polenta Con Spugnole Porcini from the Black Truffle menu. Everything tasted amazing and the Black Truffle pasta was definitely a favourite for us (thinking about it makes my mouth water, honestly). It’s prepared to serve in a cheese wheel at the table, which is really cool to watch! They also made me a Sangria which was delicious. Highly recommend! (It’s usually really busy so best to get resos well in advance.)
Great pasta place but is pretty pricey. We ordered the truffle pasta with the cheese wheel and were disappointed by the waiter’s technique (especially compared to previous meals I’ve had there). He also wasn’t very knowledgeable about their wine list which was very surprising. The zucchini dish was a pleasant surprise and I highly recommend trying it. Overall, I enjoyed coming back here but the service is not as good as it used to be.
