I've lived in LA for over 10 years, and I finally made it to Chin Chin...for Father's Day! My dad was craving spare ribs, and needless to say, he got 'em. I was pleasantly surprised by how great our dinner was â I would go back to Chin Chin in a heartbeat! The Chinese Chicken salad and pan-fried chicken dumplings were delicious!! The Beverly Hills location has a lovely outdoor patio. It was a wonderful Father's Day :).
8 of us showed up 30 minutes before closing and to the credit of the staff and kitchen, they produced great food and served us with wonderful attitude. We were all very pleasantly surprised and will be back.
Celebrated a post-Birthday lunch with our Aunt and Uncle. We had a great time!
My daughter and her husband wanted to go to Chin Chin with the kids for the day after their anniversary. We had such a good time! Food was delicious! Always love the manager, service always good and we come here all the time! Only good review from me!
Unfortunately, as we were eating we overheard a conversation from the kitchen about whether or not there was a mouse. I don't know if they were referencing their restaurant or not but it ruined dinner for us. Will not return.
The chili cheese fries are also delicious and enough to feed three people. French fries have a wrinkled shape and retain their crispiness even after chili peppers have been placed on them. There is also an option to add chopped raw onion as a garnish (which I would recommend for some fun). When you order takeout, the chili and cheese come separately so you can pick it up as you go. The french fries also have a lot of pastrami.
Mothers Day
Service was wonderful. It was the perfect setting for a birthday lunch. The Birthday guest of honor loved the food. Even though we had people that wanted different levels of spicy, all the way from mild to extra spicy, you accommodated everyone.
The service was great, and the food was tasty. We were glad that we were able to reserve a table outside. Overall enjoyable experience.
It was ok, not a bad place, but the food is not special
