I’ve been to Blue Bottle locations a couple times and haven’t been amazed. I think it’s pretty okay, it’s pricey and the menu isn’t extensive — which is OK; some shops specialize in their small menu but I didn’t feel like their prices justified what they had. I’ve ordered a hot chocolate before and it was good, and a hojicha latte with regular milk. The hojicha was not good - it was wicked milky and the whole thing just tasted like milk in ice. There wasn’t much flavor. I also had a salted caramel chocolate cookie and felt like it was a bit overpriced for the size of the cookie. It was good but again, not amazing. I think there’s better coffee shops out there.
The breakfast croissant is delish, it has a little bit of their homemade green chili sauce that is perfect
I’m in LA a few days and have been a little disappointed with the coffee so far. I found Blue Bottle and am impressed. I had their “Bright” cold brew and loved it. I like a place that has multiple cold brew options. Highly recommended.
The wifi was really slow, but it was a great place to sit and enjoy a mocha.
Yummy iced coffee
Worst service ever. I’ve been here a handful of times and the only person who does their job and is not condensing is one guy. I tried to go today to but filters that they have been out of for a week. I went at 4:30pm because the sign on the door says they close at 5. To my surprise one person cleaning inside and the door is locked. I finally got the person working to open the door and said I do t want any coffee just filters. She told me the system us shut down and she can’t sell me anything. Closed early because they are understaffed. The location on 3rd is much better with customer service and they are more friendly.
Great location to grab a coffee before or after a nearby restaurant lunch or dinner. Seating outside, inside, and upstairs. Great staff, takes a bit longer for coffee but it comes out done correctly and tastes great. Lots of parking during off hours but can get right during peak shipping and dinner. Recommended.
Iced hojicha with almond mylk is so good.
