Great service. Great food. Good wine seletion. Too bad some of the menu wasn't available, but overall a five star experience. Thank-you.

The menu was creative and delicious. The environment is welcoming, elegant and quiet - perfect for conversation. The service was, for the most part, prompt and attentive. It's a great place to eat before attending Berkeley Rep!

Excellent, everything. Our hostess was so welcoming, she was also our server because it was early, 5 pm, very knowledgeable with the food and wine. Really beautiful ambience, teal velvet, chandeliers, gorgeous. The Greek food was lovely. Hotel Shattuck is awesome.

Very nice menu including Branzino Souvlaki and roasted half chicken. Caesar salad with locally sourced lettuce and avocado was delicious as was the roasted chicken with olives and artichokes on lemon sauce Strawberry pana cotta made a great dessert Outstanding service and reasonable prices

Excellent Bar service. The best dirty vodka martini I have ever had. Very balanced, smooth and tasty

Great breakfast

Beautiful dining room. Great service and great food. Seating is comfortable, good size tables. Bathroom is immaculate, thank you for that. We’re going back!

This is located in the Shattuck Plaza Hotel. Every time we walked in to the hotel we encountered people being served at the bar or waiting in the lobby or mingling about socializing.

The food really was not good. My salmon was not fresh, overdone and incredibly salty. My friend did not like the lamb stew. The salad was ok. Grilled octopus just ok. Didn’t have non alcoholic beer or sparkling water. More than $100 for 2 people for mediocre food without drinks other than club soda.

We had a perfect meal from the cocktails through appetizers and dinner. I must begin with the perfect setting, which is a very elegant room beautiful, spacious and quiet. Then the wait staff are fun, efficient, and knowledgeable and so helpful. The food was interesting because if it’s focus on the Magreb region of the Middle East and the flavors and spices all of which were very tasteful. The cocktails were wonderful and bartender worked with us to select artisanal liquors. We had three salads as an appetizer. For entrees my husband had the wild caught salmon and I had lamb tagine which was tender and included lots of vegetables including fresh peas again perfectly spiced on a bed of couscous. This is my new favorite place in the East Bay!!
