If you are craving for dosa and chaat, Udupi Palace is the right place to go. Delicious food and great service.

This was beyond all doubt the worst South Indian food I have had anywhere in the United States and especially the Bay Area. I could barely stomach anything here. The rasam was pure oil. The dosa was fermented to deep sourness.

One of the best Udupi places I’ve visited in a long time. The paper dosa and vada were fantastic but the mango lassi was the best! Service was fast and food was super fresh!

Nice spot to get south Indian food in Berkeley! Very reasonable prices, fast service, and tasty food.

I've never eaten a meal like this in a long time, even from Bangalore where I hail from I've never eaten such good Udupi food. I became food high; the person who took our order was very nice. There is no cuisine that can match Udupi. Blessed.

The menu specifies which choices are vegan and which are just vegetarian, which goes above and beyond what most places do. Its samosas are delicious. Its dosas are fairly good. Its bathroom is really small—the sink is almost cute.

Great place to have nice south Indian food. Food could have better.

Have been going to Udupi Palace in Berkeley for the last 9 years, ever since our eldest kid got enrolled there. Every single time we went to see him, his one demand was to go for a dinner at Udupi. And we gladly complied as their extensive menu offered enough variety even if we were there twice a month. A wide range of authentic Dosas, mouthwatering Chhola Bhatura, scrumptious Idlis, crispy Vadas, flavorful chat, refreshing mango Lassi.- what more can a person ask for? And the quality has been unwavering over time. Thank you Udupi Palace, for running a trustworthy business.

The most OG down to earth community south Indian spot. Zero frills authentic and delicious food. Try the house curry masala dosa MIND BLOWN. also the Thali is a total classic

Taste of the food is good. Portion of one meal is sufficient for an individual. The South Indian Thali is really diverse. Dosa and medu vada are also crispy. Idli seems little soggy. However, over all homely food in budget.
