Delicious pastries and delicious drinks. The staff that helped me was really patient, polite, and answered all of our questions about allergens. Our family will definitely be coming back ❤️❤️❤️the original and ube muffins were a top hit with my family + the ceremonial matcha latte tasted exactly like the ones we had back in Japan!!!!

I went to their soft opening and bought 1 of each flavor of mochi donuts. I’ve had them before from their Berkeley location. They are fresh, soft and chewy with the perfect amount of sweetness. My family loves them.

Read the SF Chronicle article on how TCB sent a cease and desist to another Asian owned small businesses that makes mochi muffins. Note: TCB did not invent mochi muffins; it is not an original concept. Similar to mochi donuts, mochi brownies, mochi cookies, etc. Cultural food ingredients, flavors, and dishes should not be trademarked. They should be celebrated, shared and enjoyed so that we can support everyone's creativity and cultural offering. There is not one shade of pink, but thousands. @TCB if you dissolve your trademark, we'll come back and support you again.

Third Culture Bakery delivered a first rate latte. Honestly this was one of the best coffee drinks I have ever had. The combination of ingredients made for a very delicious and unique taste....like nothing I have very experienced. Will be returning soon! Highly recommend.

Literally one of my favorite places around!! We are here at least once every few weeks—the matcha drinks and donuts are superb and customer service is top notch! (Shoutout to Alex!! We have shown up so many times that we are now friends!) this is really a local gem everyone needs to experience!

The Raspberry Lychee mochi donut tasted cold like it was taken out of the fridge. It also didn't taste very fresh so I'm not sure they bake these fresh daily. I went there pretty early in the morning so I wouldn't be surprised if they did that. The Mango Passion Fruit one tasted very good and fresh. I wouldn't get their Matcha Latte again. It tasted very watery.

Incredibly nice and patient staff! I waited behind a pretty big group of kids that took a while to order, and when I got to the counter, the young guy working threw in an extra mochi donut to thank me for waiting in line and being patient. That was so sweet of him and the donuts were especially yummy too! I got the matcha and I think berry/raspberry donut - both were so good!

Went all the way to Berkeley for this place. The pastries = to die for. I have never had a better mochi based pastrie. OMG I got the strawberry lychee soda and ooof it was so refreshing and so good.

Try the chocolate mochi donut - strawberry too sweet!

One of my favorite local business I love to support. Love everything they do from what the owners stand for, their messaging, to their food and drinks. East bay needs to have more authentic businesses like this.
