Enjoyed his company so much we didn't take pictures of our food ??? nice lil date night spot in Berkeley. The cold sake we had was very refreshing.
The food was good, but the service was just ok. My server wasn't personable at all and I felt a bit rushed. While I was eating, she came around and asked if I was going to order anything else as if I was just sitting taking up a table. Pretty disappointing. There were also flies around my table so I was annoyed having to constantly swipe them away while trying to eat. Luckily none landed in my food. So, great sushi but not a great dining experience.
Great Sushi (high quality fish and plenty of good rolls) but had terrible service the last time I went. To the waitress who clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing: I can’t believe I have to explain this to you but do try your best not to be blatantly rude to and actually argue with your customers over being asked for two extra glasses so I can share my wine with my friends (who BOTH showed you their IDs). You’re in a service industry. It’s literally your job to be patient with your customers. I don’t care if you disagree with me. At least do the bare minimum required of your job, which is to not be rude.
Really good food! The agedashi was excellent. It could do with a facelift though. I has walked past it so many timea but never found it inviting. A friend took me to lunch here and that's how I found out the food was pretty good.
Best sushi place at Berkeley! As a person who visited Japan a lot, this reminds me of the sushi places there, and their sashimis are really fresh. Would recommend the chirashi here.
Great service and excellent traditional and American style sushi in a relaxed atmosphere. Would be 5 stars except that it was so cold in there that we had to wear our coats.
Amazing sushi everything we had was delicious. The bento is a perfect for the rain day. Try the miso the flavor is inviting and fills you with warmth
As a service industry professional, I appreciate that the service here is always on point no matter how busy the place gets. Hats off to the kitchen and wait staff. Almost overshadows how good the food is. Reasonably priced, to boot. What more could you possibly want?
Gg quick service , well cooked fish tasty ???!!!. Tea ??? very taste full and lush !!!. Noodles omg ??? why can't everyone make nudles like this !!!???????
