Was driving up University Avenue in Berkeley and spotted this Nation's. Easy parking in their large lot. Went inside and this location was large! Three people behind the counter multi tasking taking orders and cooking. Was there at 2pm and they had customers seated eating and about 15 more people came in while I waited for my Giant Harvester burger. Yummy by the way. Oh my, the pies they had for sale made my mouth water. About a dozen different pies to choose. I was impressed by the cleanliness, service and just how good a veggie burger could taste. Of course if you are a meat eater; they've got you covered.
My friend dropped his hamburger here and they made him another one for freeAmazing customer service, burger is quality as wellI normally don’t write reviews on any places but shoutout to the workers here for giving my boy an extra burger
Nations is always a solid choice. An Jr one egged was on the menu for the day. Nations has been a go to breakfast spot for me since I was old enough to choose. Light breakfast or a heavy one. If you never had their pies try em, their cheesecakes ? , this location bathrooms were decent, IDKTN stop there if I need to. The food was on point, staff was ok, until the lady cleaning kept bumping my table, other than that no complaints. I recommend this location.
Never had a problem before...but the ladiee didnt even get my 2 item order correcct.2 burgers.1 been 1 havester.Both w/cheese,everything, but both with GRILLED not RAW ONIONS.?They both came with RAW ONIONS!?Oh yeah I also wanted an order of onion rings....but I was deneid them.Why?! I was told that she "could not make th this late".....Huh????They come frozen just like the frenvh fries?!
Whenever I hit the Bay, a Nations Run is PARAMOUNT!!Didn't let me down either... Never has!!
Great place to just have a quick meal, or to take your daily dose of caffeine and hang out. The old school look, feel, and music brings back memories.
Pretty fast service. Sometimes Nations restaurants doesn't really smell like food is being cooked but this place makes food a bit different from all the other Nations I know of.
Big name franchise burger joints just don't hold a candle to Nation's. I only get a burger about twice a year, and I always visit them to satisfy my craving. Even their simplest burger (with lettuce onion and tomatoes) is huge and delicious. Then you can add in cheese, green chiles or bacon for your own version of heaven depending on your mood.
The food was how I always remember it. Nations perfection. Next time Im avoiding the wheat bun. The original bun really puts the whole meal together along with the onions and spread.
