So, Thukpa and ChowMein is one of my all time Favorite dish, and yesterday I happen to stop by Berkeley and look up for Nepali restaurant around and I decided to go to MOMO place and later I realize I made the worst mistake because their Thukpa and ChowMein is the worst Thukpa and Chowmein I have ever had☹️I won’t really suggest to go there if anyone wants to try Authentic Nepali Thukpa and Chowmein.
Amazing homemade dumplings (very flavorful filling and bomb spicy sauce to dip) and also literally the most welcoming folks behind the counter. Gotta try the rest of the menu!

I ordered fried and steamed momos which were all drippy and blant.
We had momos here on a winter evening. Also tried mango lassi. I guess I am not a fan of momos in which the filling is curry like or fried. I prefer simple momos with sautéed veggie fillings.Didn't try anything else to get a holistic picture but their name says Momo and honestly I didn't like them.
Wow. This place is incredible. I ordered the 'C' Veggie Momo and the samosas and I can honestly say it was some of the best food I've had in Berkeley. The momo dish was mouth-wateringly spicy and piping hot and the samosas were delightfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A little pricy, but the serving sizes are generous. And the staff was very courteous as well. Will definitely be coming back soon.

I would say these people make their food from their heart. Tasty and fresh. Wait time is somewhere between 10/15 minutes which is worth.
