I had to rate this McDonald's five stars because it is sooo much better, in every way, than any in nearby Oakland. For some reason Oakland McDonald's restaurants are pretty horrible when compared to everywhere else. For whatever reason, Berkeley locations seem to be a huge step up, get your order right (why is this so difficult in Oakland) and are fast and friendly. Oh, they also can do coffee ((rolls eyes)).
Tried to get food at 10:20pm a couple night ago. Doors were locked and cashier said they were closed even though there were customers waiting inside.Our last few purchases at this location we weee given the wrong change, even though the change amount was shown. You guys need to hire right.

Don't go there at night I was picking up an Uber order and they treated me with such disrespect. Just because I looked a certain way don't give you the right to talk to me like that. I tried getting my order so the dude told me to go to the next window, the lady there tried to make me go in the long line of people that haven't paid yet. Mind you I'm picking up an order something that's already a customer paid for. She said you can't just cut in line like that, the store was close I didn't want to be late for my delivery. I didn't cut no one, I politely asked someone if I can go in front of then they Said yes. So get your fact straight next time you decide to give someone an attitude I was not at all disrespectful to you.
Horrible food, with horrible health consequences, made by a horrible Corporation, unfortunately hiring unfortunate people who they under pay and don't promote, this place in all places like it should be shut down, and boycott her forever. Okay now I feel like a Big Mac.
The service is kind of shaky, there was this one time they forgot to give me the fries. Food is good quality though.
