My husband and I have been on a search for a good restaurant, with good food and attention to detail and a sense that staff are attuned to the customer experience. It’s been a tough search. We decided to give Longbranch/Paisan a try. We walked away so happy, talking about the food for the rest of the night. We had the asparagus salad and a Cesar salad. The ingredients were fresh, and the dressings were homemade and appropriately dressed in the salad. We loved them! So many times you go to a restaurant with pictures of the salads and the actual dishes looks nothing like the photos. But not these salads as they were visually appealing and very tasty. We shared the 16oz Ribeye. It was grilled to perfection and was incredibly tender. The steak came with perfectly baked Yukon potatoes. We relished the food as we ate it.We topped it off with a apple tart with cardamom ice cream. What a delicious dessert. They had multiple choices and all sounded wonderful. We could tell the owners and chef care about quality and know a lot about good food. Thank you!One final note, the staff were great too, they quickly gave us a table and paid attention to our needs. Some restaurants make such a big production in seating people and overly complicate things. But not Longbranch/Paisan, it was a great dining out experience. We can’t wait to come back.

great spot! delicious cocktails, terrific food and a lovely ambiance. definitely another fav spot to drop into with friends, come date nite or grabbing a pizza pie

Perfectly cooked burger, with incredible seasoning. The cocktails are delicious, especially the fresh cut grass. The staff is always so attentive and the management is incredibly friendly and professional. So happy to see that longbranch survived these last few years since I used to live in the neighborhood! Keep it up longbranch!

The food was mediocre, but the service was great! I loved our waitress. The cheese curds were cold and had no flavor.

Ribeye and potatoes were amazing, please try the chimichurri. My cesar salad is really expensive in 11 dollars. Place is nice. Service is good. They serve fast. They have patio and they are pet friendly. I like they ask for vaccination card.

Longbranch has been a neighborhood go to since pre-covid. When I moved to the East Bay, I was glad to discover them within walking distance. Since then, I have tried and found a lot of good food in Berkeley and Oakland, but I’m most happy and lucky that one of the best places I’ve found is available to me six days a week. The menu is straightforward and delicious, and it compliments a great beer and cocktail program with skilled bartenders. Since Covid-Times began and my girlfriend and I now order to take home, we’ve zeroed in on the whole roasted chicken (deliciously brined) and sides, or the ribeye and sides as a shared meal. Dining solo I love both their burger and the spaghetti bolognese.

Great food great service highly recommend

My first time here. I had the cheese curds, ribeye (med-rare, substituting a buttered pasta side [$5 extra] for potatoes and requesting sour cream, for which they substituted creme fresh) and nectarine cornmeal cake, with a KetelOne Martini and an on tap stout. Sadly, the pasta was way overcooked, but still delicious....how can butter and olive oil go wrong. The homemade sauces with the curds were amazing, particularly the jam, which they should bottle. The steak was perfectly cooked. The dessert could use more nectarines and creme fresh, or better yet ice cream, and was excellent. The stout was nice, but I'd like the martini in a traditional glass and a bit more volume and chill. All in all, I would come back and try more menu items. I was sad they didn't have the Saturday happy hour anymore. The servers were very attentive and pleasant.

Quiet patio in the back of the restaurant, short menu but everything we ordered was pretty good and tasty.Very friendly service from Telma! No kids menu, but the pizza was a success :)

I was hungry and looking for a light dinner. I ended up with a seasonal heirloom tomato salad. A healthy portion fresh burrata, lots of toasted bread and of course heirloom tomatoes dressed with oil, pesto and I think lemon over a bed of baby greens. It was perfect.
