Unfortunately food and service were pretty good but our experience was marred by someone who came to our table and kicked us out because the restaurant was apparently closed. There are more polite ways to express this message than storming off with a stinky looking face. We apologized for not knowing that the restaurant was closed. First and last time at this place!
Had a lovely brunch on the spectacular terrace today. We would have preferred shade, but we got sun. All the food was very good. My guest said his soft scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were the best scrambled eggs he had ever had. I can't remember any better, myself.
The food was delicious. I definitely recommend eating here.
Service was either intrusive at first & then inattentive. Food was inedible.

Noise was very loud. Great service although it took an hour to get 3 smash burgers.
It is surprising that the restaurant has no heaters for the outdoor seating off the balcony. With COVID and chilly Berkeley hills weather? Thank goodness for the âannexedâ (?) part of the parking lot where there are heaters, fire pits and blankets provided. It is beautiful. Extremely expensive though so keep that in mind. Mixed feelings.
We had a great experience here. We had three apps, the mushroom dish, ceviche, and the cheese board with pinot noir. very tasty. Then we shared the scallops and ribeye steak. flavor was fantastic. Then we had peach cobbler and lemon tart for dessert. It was all fabulous! Wait staff was very attentive.
Really good food. Steak + frites excellent. Scallops spectacular. Crispy rockfish wonderful. Good burger. Grilled asparagus very tasty. Service was friendly and perfect. Five stars!!!!!
Very limited menu and expensive for what you get. I will not return.
