If you love Ethiopian food, you’ll want to find yourself here. If you’ve never tried Ethiopian food, here’s the place to start. Dizzyingly delicious eats. A wonderful staff. A beautiful atmospheric restaurant. Amazing!
I had the veggie plate. Oh, so yummy. I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back
You would think this place was no good because it's rarely frequented....HOWEVER ITS NOT ONLY A BEAUTIFUL AMBIANCE INSIDE THE FOOD IS GOOD....There really is no difference between this place and Barcote on telegraph except....LEMAT HAS A MUCH BETTER AMBIANCE AND THE STAFF ARE WONDERFUL AND THE FOOD IS GOOD....AND ITS GOT GREAT ? HONEY WINE....
I love the ambience here.. Bar is cool.
Have been here before a few years back before the pandemic. Happy to be back after 4 years... Place hasn't changed much. Very clean and neat. Service is warm and friendly. Food takes bit of time to be prepared so order quickly. They were very sweet to bring quickly a small injeera and one of their plain lentil preparations on top for our 4 years old since our food would have taken some time - very very thoughtful :) We shared the veg family size combo, the chickpea special dish (very spicy) and the lovely beef samosas in their special sauce. My 4 year old really loved the samosas!
We've been coming here since their grand opening, we consider Gezu & family friends. They are kind & gracious hosts, the food is always hot & fresh, portions are generous. We've had 3 of my daughter's birthdays here. We love the decor & ambiance, miss dining in. We've been getting occasional to-go during SIP. Highly recommend the veggie combo, it's vegan.
The food was amazing! Definitely going to visit again!
One of the best Ethiopian restaurants in the area.I always go for the veggie combo. The portion size is ideal for one person.Very friendly staff and one can find seating easily - for large or small groups. It was a long time since I dined in, and it was worth it.
Beautiful restaurant with amazingly flavorful food. First we had the lentil samosas and salad. Samosas were crisp and rich and so delicious. Then shared the fish and the vegetarian combo plate so good and filling. Would recommend this place!
...only concern I sadly had upon returning (not related to restaurant interior, which at the moment is take-out only) is that up and down the outside sidewalk several loud men kept lingering in a highly intoxicated state while not always so respectful to especially ladies passing through (literally following some).-added August 2, 2021
