I am still eating on my lamb shawarma wrap from Lama beans, because it was plentiful and filled with tender lamb, lettuce & tomatoes. I have had more tasty beef/ lamb combo shawarma at my favorite Mediterranean restaurant.The tzatziki sauce (cucumber + yogurt) was bland and tasteless. I do not like string french fries, though they tasted ok. The staff is friendly and I like the clean and easy ambience. I love their Jerk chicken wrap which I will get next time. It was too hot to dine outdoors today, but, perhaps, I will do so at my next visit.
We came here to wait for a friend and meantime ordered some coffee. We wanted to share something sweet but since they had no dessert we ordered mini pancakes :) they were delicious!Place is very big with lots of indoor seating areas and a lovely sunny outside area. Place is neat and bathroom is very clean,Would love to come back and taste more from their breakfast menu :)

BEST BLUEBERRY PANCAKES IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!I've been going to this place since it used to be called Jimmy Beans about 20 years now. Very nice quality coffee. I always order their breakfast special and request the blueberry pancakes instead of the plain. I also order a side of their country potatoes with their yummy Side sauces. This is one of the best breakfast places you will find in the East Bay.
While I like many different levels of eggs Benedict and eggs Blackstone, sometimes I have one that feels like the cook has just made too many of them, and is kind of on autopilot. That was the feeling I got here, as the hollandaise wasn't really tangy, and the three salsas on the side, were all kind of bland and tasted like they had been made the night before.That said, the eggs were cooked perfectly, the home fries were delicious, I just think they need up there hollandaise and salsa game a little bit.But, what overcomes all of that for me is that they are a perfect spot to hide out and cruise on your laptop in a nice cool environment just minutes from the freeway, or getting your tires fixed at Don's tires across the street.I'll be back, and hope that my experience with Xbox and was just a fluke.Also the staff is super nice, and helpful.
We love Lama Beans. Very friendly employees and good prices! We were in Berkeley to visit family and we came back 3 times. Definitely a recommendation for everyone.
My favorite brunch spot in Berkeley. Owners are super friendly and attentive. You cant go wrong with anything you order on the menu. They don’t skimp on the portions here!
Try the Eggs Benedict, the Smoked Salmon Scramble or the Corned Beef Hash. My three favourites for many, many years. Great coffee too!
This is my go to breakfast joint. The food is always good. Healthy options as well as decadent classics. Great coffee, friendly staff and never a wait.
Stopped for breakfast on a recommendation and ordered the eggs Benedict. Quite possibly the best I’ve ever had! Love the trio of sauces they serve with it. Not to mention the staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely come back
