From the hostess, bartender, waiter and chef, we we extremely pleased. Generous portions of great food. Every one of my picky family was happy. Thank you for a family friendly experience.
Food is good, service is bad. They have just two hot sauce containers for an entire restaurant so people are just going table to table to ask to borrow it. They don’t follow “first in first out” so orders are out of order. I waited 40min for my order and the restaurant was at half capacity. Then I get my order and it’s incorrect. I wasn’t going yo wait another 40min. Just really frustrating to go here. Similar experience the other two times. Decent food just can’t figure out simple logistics to running a restaurant.
I have heard good things about this restaurant and was a little disappointed. I ordered menudo for takeout, the service was fast and friendly. When I got to my hotel room I opened the bag and found no utensils to eat my food with. That's not a huge deal, but very inconvenient. When I opened the bag I saw the container of soup and was pleasantly surprised by the size, but not the contents. There was hardly any meat in the container, mostly broth! And at almost $20 it's on the expensive side, as far as menudo goes. The flavor was good l, just wish there's was more to enjoy! I feel a little cheated.
This place is BOMB! And they have organic tortillas?! High quality ingredients and friendly service. Try the Barbacoa!!!!! Sooo good! Apparently the Mole is famous. So I need to go back to try them. We sat outside. It was chill.
Food was bland, water was unnecessary, they could have done a better job at draining the water. Pico was over powered by oregano. My husband ordered chicken mole that a bit to sweet for his liking. Definitely do not recommend
Love the clearly labeled veggie options on the menu. Their pinto beans are NOT vegetarian, but the refried and black beans are.I usually get take out, but their patio is also so lovely and tucked away for being on such a busy street.Kinda wish the burrito would come with chips since it is kinda pricey, but the size of the burrito itself is decent and more than enough to fill me up for dinner.
The food is delicious, but it's always served tepid. Why can't they serve hot food hot? I even sent my plate back once because the beans were cold. It's a shame because I really like the food here otherwise.
This place is AMAZING. So so so many vegetarian option too!!! The mole is really out of this world and I’ve only had one as good in Mexico City.Their table salsas are amazing too, actually flavorful, and actually spicy.They also have heated outdoor seating.I’m sad I don’t live in the same city as this fine and delicious establishment.
I wish I could give a better review. But, this was the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever experienced. We ordered and waited 30 min for half of our meal. It took another 30min to get the rest. They messed up our order two. My wife ordered the tasty sounding nachos and literally teared up, because she was so disappointed in our meals on new year's eve.
Always my got-to for fresh and absolutely delicious Mexican food. The baja fish tacos are amazing. The chips are always fresh to order. Guac is generously portioned. Carne asada and chorizo is also incredible. Can't go wrong here!
