Fresh sushi. Great price. The lady in the front does not accept tips.
I've been a customer for ten years; Sushi is always fresh and ready to go. You better go before 6 pm because everything is gone by the end of the day. This is a local family-owned restaurant. If you are visiting Albany planning a day in Tilden Park or the beach and want to enjoy an excellent ready-to-go Sushi, don't hesitate to visit Kyoto!!
I used to go there a lot on my lunch breaks when I worked on solano and I liked it at first because it was quick and the sushi was ok. However, The lady who is usually working there has a really nasty attitude and she does not provide any type of customer service. She has always been unpleasant but I used to ignore it. After a few really bad encounters with her though, I swore will never go there again! I used even think she might be having a bad day sometimes, but she couldn’t have been having a bad day every time I came in there which was very often. And the sushi is not good enough to be treated that poorly. Highly do NOT recommend!!
My husband & I walked to Hopkins & saw the Soft Opening sign. We were there on it's 1st day; both of us had lunch bento boxes, in addition to my tamago! Keep this Japanese restaurant going, please!

For whatever reason, this tiny store has the BEST California roll in the state of California which is to say the world. And it's so reasonably priced
