Great patio which alone makes this place a "go-to" place. Presently they have serverless ordering and runners for food due to a low time and probably post-covid period. Quick service, good cold beer and drinks. Pizza very cheesy. One thing...forgot our water. We enjoyed our patio time. So relaxing. Will always come back!
It is good place to go for good pizza, good beer, and good friends. The patio is nice. The music is loud and the atmosphere is very laid back. We went twice and had good service and good pizza both times.
Ended up eating a bowl of warm olives by myself while drinking a nice drink.This place is awesome for its outdoor area alone. Open fires, ceiling heaters (which are a must!), a water feature, some trees, nice soft lighting and various levels. They’re also pet friendly.They have great beer and an alright selection of cocktails. The pizza is great. I’d try and make reservations on the weekend.
Jupiter is a Berkeley establishment. Students, researchers, and travelers have been hanging out here for decades. They have a huge outdoor garden right in the center of downtown Berkeley. Great selection of craft beer and a very interesting selection of pizzas. Can't go wrong with Jupiter. The only thing to watch out is the long line. No reservations are available in the evenings and the wait could be up to 1h on Friday evenings.
The Pricing was fairly reasonable for Berkeley. However, we were charged for “open tab” which we were never made aware of and which is also 18%. This left a bitter taste for me.The Customer service was okay. Nothing extraordinary or memorable.Presentation/quality of the chicken wings was different. The chicken was coming off the bone so it felt like we were eating fajitas. The flavor was good. I enjoyed the pizzas, they were delicious. Their ARTICHOKE and SPINACH DIP was amazing. I definitely recommend getting that.
I was greeted by a lively seating host and escorted to their charming outdoor patio with a fire pit to keep the chill at bay. The amber beer I had was excellent, full-bodied and nutty without being overly heavy. The real treat was the cheesy garlic bread which came with not 1 but 2 while bulbs of roasted garlic. Absolute perfection.
Stopped in for a drink top kill time before a movie across the street. Nice to see that masks and vaccination checks are still being required.I had a Honey Wheat Ale with Tangerine from Morgan Territory, and my wife had a Blackberry Cider from Two Rivers. I liked the ale, but she felt the cider was too tart. She likes their Pineapple Cider better.
Delicious food. Great vibes. Outdoor seating has heat!
Jupiter has been serving good food and brew for many years and it is still a good place to go eat n drink with good company. There is indoor seating with a second floor, there is also a nice outdoor patio with center fire pit. Live music is played on certain evenings. When seated, all orders are made with QR code since COVID, it’s fast and simple.
Fantastic spot for beer and pizza! I came here with my dog and enjoyed the Cassiopeia pie (bbq chicken) with extra red pepper flakes and their Hefeweizen. I was seated immediately (came at 1pm on a sunny Saturday) and the staff was super friendly.
