I come here weekly for their amazing lunch buffet. The buffet is only $15 and changes everyday which I love. They also always have several vegetarian and meat options to choose from which makes its great for everyone. The staff are extremely welcoming and make sure that you have everything you need.
We wandered in here after flying in from DC. Had a fabulous meal! Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the wait staff couldn’t have been friendlier. This is the best Nepali/Northern Indian food we’ve ever had. Wish there was one back home so we could try EVERYTHING. Thank you.
Delicious Nepali food. And the people were so nice and friendly. Vegetarian friendly. I look forward to the next time I get the chance to eat here. It was delicious and a great experience.
Just wow. Everything was absolutely delicious, amazing. It was my first time dining in & I got the Chicken Thali. Im recommending this to anyone that will listen & putting the Himalayas on my bucket list.
Himalayan Flavors is located on University Ave in Berkeley. There are several street parking spots in front of the restaurant, and there is a small parking lot located next to the restaurant. The food is really tasty with distinct spices (similar to Indian dishes) and there are plenty options to choose from. The chicken Momo is delicious. Service is very friendly and fast. We would eat here again.
The dine in food seems to be better compared to the take out unless it was just an off-night for the kitchen.
Went here for a date night during the omicron times. Showed our vaccination status and had the restaurant to ourselves. The waitress was very nice and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were good for the price. When we ordered a glass of wine, we ended up finishing the bottle that they already had opened - the glass was just a little underfilled. But the waitress opened up a new bottle and topped it off. It's the small things! Would come here again in a heartbeat.
We weren't sure what to expect since there was only one other party eating on a Thursday night, but we were wowed by the delicious food! There was not a mediocre dish among the seven different entrees and appetizers that we got. Flavors were rich and delicious, and vegetables were cooked perfectly. The space is a bit cold and quiet, but it was a very enjoyable dinner food-wise.

Wow! Wow ! Wow! Me and my friends decided to check out this place over this weekend. We ordered lunch thali, which they mentioned was newly added item on their menu. Lunch thali was excellent. Mean included dessert as well. I truly appreciate the service provided by the staff. Lady server was able to help us with our requests. I highly recommend anyone to go and check out this place.
