A group of friends and I were visiting from out of state and stepped into Highwire. There was one barista who did an amazing job serving the whole line by herself in a timely manner. The atmosphere was very pleasantly mellow, comfortable, and inviting- the perfect place to do computer work, read a book, or have some friend time. THE COFFEE WAS INCREDIBLE!!!One friend got a Cuppacino and commented that it felt "like a gentle pat on the head." Another friend order an Americano and said it was satisfying. I ordered a Latte and it was a perfect pick me up and I definitely would return again!!We all drank the coffee slowly to savor the bold taste and to enjoy the experince!!Well well done!!
Always the most solid espresso pulls and selection of pastries. Vibe is always chill and perfect.

Best decaf on the planet! Highwire is my favorite coffee shop to buy beans from on the regular. If you’re looking for an excellent dark roast, go for the Bauhaus. And, if you’re like me and want decaf without sacrificing flavor, the After Hours will instantly become your new go-to.
The coffee was good. The chocolate croissant was bomb. It was pretty pricey though.
Felt discriminated and won’t be coming back. Out of nowhere they asked for “vaccination cards” when I searched an clearly in Berkeley places don’t require it. There wasn’t even anyone inside and they asked us to go to the patio instead of not vaccinated. How ridiculous is this? Also, we said for here, they didn’t give us “here” but only to go. Very bad business. They didn’t even have a sign outside the door about it.
wow!... had a bad experience this morning... ordered a masala chai with a shot... thought I'd be in an' out in 10mins max!... nope!... when my chai finally does come, it's cold! (which I didn't order)... now it's been 15mins... I had to go... chai-less!... and $6.25+tip-less!... it sucked!... won't be back to this location...
Wandering down San Pablo discovered this coffee house with the best cappuccino ever. There is plenty of room and plenty of airy space, including a back garden, back room with huge open windows, front windows open. Everything one could want to be caffeinated, read a book, look at art and avoid the Delta variant. Recommend!

Really delicious coffee.. They roast their own and know how to brew the perfect cup with a siphon machine. It doesn't brew the coffee too hot, like many other coffee shops. The siphon extracts all the flavor with no bitterness. Best coffee in Berkeley.
