Soooooo good! Best Poke I've had. Quick service, fresh and delicious :)
Fish was fresh, I thought the seasonings on the rice and fish were great.I had brown rice, salmon, albacore, shrimp. Seaweed salad and edamame. Photo of my takeout, the nice presentation got a bit scrambled when dropped it.
Food was decent but bad service. I’ve been eating here for a year and macaroni salad doesn’t taste like it used to. When I called yesterday to give constructive criticism respectfully, the guy got really defensive and had an attitude. That guy could’ve just said “thank you for your feedback” even if they don’t wanna change. Well they lost a customer
Great poke place with a Hawaiian flare (macaroni salad for example). I would say the portion size is okay for the price but they have great options for mix-in’s and thoughtful arrangement of the sides, rice, and greens. Would recommend the crab salad as a side!
Decent poke, small dine in area, and fast service.
Overpriced and not worth it. Price is much higher than what shows on Google, and portions are tiny. I asked for two bowls with the same amount of fish, and the server scooped one much bigger than the other. I asked him to make them the same size, so he scooped fish out back into the supply instead of evening them inside the bowls. He also mixed up the sides for the two bowls. I love poke and have been looking for a good local poke place. I will never go back here.
So rude & horrible customer services . Not sure how they have 4.5 star rating ? if here is a way to give them negative star than would give them -100. When I went to pickup my food and asking them simple about restroom they said we don’t have public restrooms even I’m their customer and not just random customer get inside and asking for restroom, they can simple said we don’t have restroom for customer it’s more. And lady was supper rude who were serving food on the front and telling me that go outside and wait food I don’t know if they tell the all customer go outside on the street and wait for food even there are tables inside the restaurant, Or she just telling me if she does then I believe she know the consequences about that but guy was saying it will going to take just 5 minutes more to get ready. What a bad customer services? Will never go there again..
I eat here often, overall I think it’s the best poke in the Oakland/Berkeley area (considering price, portions, quality, flavor and service). I’m always pretty satisfied with my orders.Just a note to the staff if anyone see this: my dinner order tonight tasted like the avocados were soaked in lemon juice and the shrimp was a little off. I know lemon juice can prevent the avocado from browning throughout the day but the lemon flavor was too strong throughout the bowl. The flavors may have been different/off because I ordered a late dinner near closing time and typically I order lunch, not sure if maybe the procedures for keeping the food change later in the evening as you start to close up. Just a little feedback. Thanks!
The macaroni salad is great and I like how they mix the toppings in with the fish and sauce. The portions are smaller than other places and a bit more expensive. I wish they had eel sauce.
This is the best Poki spot in the area. They never disappoint. All of the choices and mix ins are incredible. I have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend.
