It was my daughter's 14th birthday, and you guys didn't have the right ingredients to prepare the meal she requested. There were no birthday cakes at that time and even though she made a birthday reservation she was not informed of this. And not even when she arrived as she was made aware of this more or less before she ate her meal. There is no discount given no consideration that was her birthday is there a discount given at any time? Just all the way around a sour, taste. Not to mention the food is not up to par this used to be one of our favorite places to eat not something I would do again sad to say it's not what it used to be at all!
Our experience today was a bit unsatisfactory.Our waitress Ebony was really nice. Weâve actually had her a few times as our waitress so we were familiar with her. Our chef was OK but he kept getting our orders mixed up and then he would forget to give us things like sauce and then he forgot to give us the vegetables. He completely cleaned the grill and everyone didnât even have all of their food. That was definitely a experience Iâve never had there before and we eat there very often. Our favorite chef there is Ryan, he is absolutely amazing and he gets our orders right every single time. I just guess today was an off day for the chef that we had because with the amount of money I spent (411.) today dining there, I wouldâve hoped that the service was better than what we experienced this time.
Well first off as hostee i showed customer server my sons identity card to show his birthday hes 4 however my sisters bday aswell the desk lady came and ask my son was it his bday LOL hes 4 he replied and it was just so awkward that youd come and confim i figured they suprise hun with happy bday and cheesecake at end but No it was terrible they brought out pineapple also i ordered a margarita and it was just margarita mix ð«very distasteful i waited the whole meal for the manager to show face never dis i felt belittled and disrespected however my black dollar wont be going there ever again were supposed to be vegan anyways ððâï¸ð©¸ð¤ð¾ð
It was my 62nd birthday. I have not been her in at least 6-8 years, Love the location on the Berkeley Marina. The service was excellent. The food was very good. The ambiance is a bit dated and tired but serviceable. Had a great time with my dear old friends, my former retired mail carrier and his wife. Will be back!
Hana Japan is one of my favorite restaurants. Food and service is excellent; however, the restaurant is ALWAYS SHORT OF CHEFS. Most times we donât eat until almost two hours after the reservation. Itâs unfortunate, but the truth.
The hibachi food was great however the calamari appetizer was hugely disappointing. Inedible and they didnât offer to take it off the check. That was a let down for sure.
Only had to wait 15 minutes for reservation which was fine. Pricing is fair. From when we sat down and ordered right away it was an hour before we got served our food. Never brought our rice or even asked. After food was served there was never even one follow up to see how everything was. 18% auto grat is fine but I donât feel the service or presentation was that great. Might try again.
Food suck and service suck the cook did not listen to our request and we couldnât even eat our food because it wasnât cooked all the way
We took our out of state friends and they loved it! Food was amazing ðð»
Our server Won Tu was amazing. He had our little guy in stitches!!!!!
