It almost feels shameful to say that this place serves some of the best Italian food in the Bay Area. It is a local college dive, and looks a bit dank, but a pretty little Mexican lady of Berkley-alumni-status introduced it to me, and I still get cravings. The food is affordable for the poor college students, and they crank it out like clockwork. But trust me when I say that you get more than what you pay for in terms of both quality and quantity. The flavors are savory and rich... I recommend the Pollo con Pesto. Keep in mind that this is the type of place where the quality could slightly shift from one day to the next, but it is worth the gamble.
this is a great little place for italian food! the prices are relatively inexpensive compared to the amount of food you receive! they have a variety of pasta, calzones, and pizza. the food tasted great and the service was fast, despite it being a little busy. one thing to note is that paying with card is $1 more expensive than paying with cash! overall, 5/5 stars!!

Authentic Italian cuisine served at an unbelievably fast fashion. They really have their recipes and prep process really dialed-in. It's no wonder they have won " Best Italian Cuisine in Berkeley" every single year since they opened 30+ years ago.I have been coming here for years and I am never disappointed. They have a great selection of sea-food, beef, chicken and vegetarian dishes. But best of all is their signature sauces, they have the best pesto I've ever had and their gorgonzola sauce is amazing. And every plate served with 1 or 2 pieces of toasted garlic bread.
This is a great place to grab a bite. It can be crowded and loud at times, but the price is fair and it's only about a 20-30 minute wait for a calzone. It's a lot less when you order something more simple. The food itself is amazing. I would highly recommend eating here if you're craving some italian food.
Very good, fresh Italian food for a very good price. Definitely a great place not only for college students, but for anyone who loves Italian food! Also, the dishes are $1 less if you pay with cash!
The sauce on their crazy Alfredo is interesting--alfredo and red wine sauce. It does come with a lot of chicken and sausage, but sometimes you just want the real thing, so the sauce was a bit of a surprise. The garlic bread is of course there to absorb the extra sauce that remains after you consume the pasta.
I ordered the pesto con pollo. The pesto sauce was rich and strong, and there were so much chicken inside! Every serve is big size, so you’d better share with friends! Btw, the garlic bread was sooo great…omg
Fast service. Good food. It's not fine dining, but definitely worth the prices for the flavor and portion! It's in the heart of College town so, it's very much suited for the demographic. It's definitely better than an Italian chain restaurant.- side note: the food is better the next day!
My top go to for Italian cuisine. If you don't see any combination dish on the menu. They'll make any combination you desire. Mine is spaghetti noodles creamy pesto and bacon
