I go there sometimes to order food. I went there on Friday and ordered a super burrito but taste very salty where i only took a few bites and throw it away. The burrito did not include chips compare to other taquerias that chips comes with burrito. They need to lower or decrease salt on the food as salt can always be added by customer according to flavoring taste.
Gave me the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. I only ate there that day so I know it was from them. 4 days of puking, liquid diarrhea, difficulty standing from dizziness and nausea, and stomach cramps/migraine. They need to put a thermometer in they’re meat before selling it. I ate two chicken tacos two carnitas tacos and a carne Assad a super burrito.
Absolutely one of my top 3 taquerias of all time. I have been eating here about 20 years, and every time I come back to the Bay area this is an absolute must for me. I always go for a super burrito with spinach tortilla and all the fixings and hot sauce.Thank you for years of quality service!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Been my favorite burrito spot for years. They melt the cheese right onto the tortilla. Great beans and rice.Always quite busy so if you don't like waiting outside, avoid standard lunch and dinner times or order ahead (you still have to wait in line for that too, but it's a lot shorter).
Delicious. Superb place to get a quick and more than efficient burrito. It’s sloppy and delicious and I can’t think of a better place to get some quality Mexican food. Definitely give this place a try and sit in the window… and just let it wash over you! Oh my god. .
One of the best burrito and taco shops in Berkeley. The tortillas are perfect and the carnitas is always fantastic.
I was excited to try this place because I heard the food is good but unfortunately I wasn’t treated very well. I went in there with my three kids and I ordered food. Because I couldn’t understand his accent he started yelling at me in front of my kids and one other customer behind us. He was rushing my order so I didn’t even end up ordering myself food. Horrible service. Don’t bring your family here.
Been going to Gordo Taquerias for 30+ years, started with the 9th Ave location in sf then found this one was really close to my college. Always delicious and made to order! Sometimes it feels rushed, orders get messed up but it's always delicious and we can count on it for the fabulous flavors and their classic menu. My family and I enjoy the green sauce especially. When ever I'm back in the bay I try to come for the awesome food and some nostalgia for me.
Flavorful meat, tastes well grilled, almost bbqed but very juicy. If you go right at 12 during the week you will have long wait. We got there at a couple minutes before noon and it took about 18 mins but worth it. No indoor dining (if there was no Covid maybe they have like 2 window seats or something)
Been going to Gordos well over 25 years, pretty much go once a week. It's a Bay Area staple. No frills and no lettuce! ? Everything is tasty and always seasoned just right. You can't go wrong with a Gordos super burrito.
