4 stars just for keeping so many vegan optionsOverall the food is decent but on the expensive side for the portion.

Food is ok. But it was slow due to the fact that it is a one man operation the day i visited. I had the California burrito, first time i have French fries in a burrito. Taste was good though. I'd recommend it if you're starving and can survive ten more minutes after ordering and without substance until then. They have good vegan options so that's a plus.

My fiancé and I used to get their quesadillas, which IIRC were always good. Went earlier today with my Dad for lunch. I saw 'California Burrito' on the menu, which had the words sour cream and guacamole in its description, and I filled in the rest of the picture mentally, thinking it'd be sort of Baja Fresh style - so much cheese, guac, sour cream, and salsa that meat isn't even needed (though I couldn't resist and got chicken)..Unfortunately, my first three bites were nothing but French fries and flour tortilla, with watery-grease leaking everywhere. Fries are not a good item for a burrito, in case you're wondering about that combo. I couldn't taste any of the things mentioned above and gave up on it as it was frankly inedible. But I don't like wasting food, so I took it home with me to heat up later, thinking if I waited until I was starving it'd taste better. So, I waited until I was dizzy from hunger, hoping that I'd just gotten unlucky with my first bites. Maybe there would still be cheesy, avocado goodness deeper inside somewhere.I dove back in an hour ago, so hungry that fries and flour tortilla were sounding not so bad, especially with the potential discovery of a fountain of goopy green goo. Unfortunately, like Ponce de Leon, my expedition failed to uncover any such fountain. And I looked EVERYWHERE - I got a very good look at its contents dumped out onto a plate. It was easily 50% French fries and 25% tortilla. The remaining 25% was split up between overcooked chicken grisel and diced tomatoes. There was some kind of greasy sauce on it that tasted vaguely like sour cream, but it bore no resemblance whatsoever to cheese or guacamole. The only green visible came from some pieces of cilantro.Probably the worst burrito I've ever had. And for $15! I'd have given them 1 star, but they never let me down before today. Plus, they're friendly, and probably struggling to stay afloat because of covid. So, they get 3 stars.

Simple, but really good. You can customize as much as you want, but extras get pricey. Still, for simple taqueria food, this is a good stop.

I ordered the California Burrito and it was filled with French fries— that’s totally unacceptable. It was nearly all French fries and if you don’t have barbacoa, then you shouldn’t advertise that you do. I’ve ordered from you all a number 4 times and this is ridiculous. If I wanted French fries, I would have gone to McDonalds.

Great place, any time we go to San Fran we drive to Gorditos Amigos to eat some delicious tacos and buy collectible CDs at the local music shops

Amazing amazing amazing vegan california burrito. Made fresh and it’s so good!

A wide variety of Vegan options as well as the usual fare. Our first time there, we ordered Vegan Nachos and Quesadilla and 4 different tacos with meat and shrimp. We went there at opening, 11 on a Sunday morning. This place is just 2 blocks from the campus and we were able to find parking.

First time I have been able to eat a quesadilla in 4 years! This was delicious and huge. I got my quesadilla with vegan cheese, vegan sour cream, vegan carne asada, guacamole and mild green salsa on the side. The salsa was fresh with the perfect amount of spice. I actually thought a mistake had been made with the carne asada- it really tasted and looked like real meat without the fatty, heavy taste. I even ate half the quesadilla the next day and it was still delicious! The man there on Sunday opening time (owner?) was helpful and gracious. Will definitely return.

Empty for a reason. Over priced super soggy burrito with no complimentary chips
