Lovely ambiance, decently quick service, but the red curry chicken was underwhelming (a bit watery rather than creamy, undersweetened and just not super flavorful). Maybe other dishes are better and I'd be fine with it in a small town or something, but you can find better in Berkeley for sure.
Paid $15 plus tax for a hot and sour soup paid extra $4 for prawns only got 4 of them, the soup was only broth I don’t get how it’s that expensive. Ripping off people is not nice. Never ordering from this place again.
Over priced for portions so small. At times the young woman is rude she shouldn't deal with customers at all.The duck curry is amazing. But duck basil had me upset. Was supposed to be boneless duck cuts veggies basil but it was 2 very small legs and literally 2 pieces the size of ping pong ball but flat.
Delicious Thai with large portions and reasonable prices. This is my new go-to for Thai. There are dishes here I’ve never seen anywhere else. The green curry fried rice, panang curry, and pad prik king are all excellent. Highly recommended.
Some of the food was ok, I ordered pineapple fried rice with chicken and it was burnt. Service was ridiculously slow, the food came out in random times (appetizers came halfway through the main course), getting basic things like a to go container and the bill was a struggle.The biggest issue came at the end when the server gave me the bill, proceeded to look over my shoulder and wouldn’t leave until I filled it out. He was very awkward, it felt like we were being targeted since he didn’t act like this with the other group (younger males around his age) that was in the restaurant. Never coming back here again.
BIG problem! The food ranged from so-so to pretty good depending on what you ordered. The big problem is the way we were charged. On the left you can see our receipt, which clearly includes an 18% gratuity. However, when we received the credit card copy to sign it included a strong prompt to tip. Many customers would be led to double tip through this process and it likely happens more often than it should. It seems unlikely that the staff & management are unaware of this highly suspicious double-dipping practice.
Tasty food. Nice ambience. Been here two times, both times get excellent customer service. Definitely recommend for gathering.
Wow, great decor, excellent food, and fast, friendly service. The decor initially attracted us. We thought a restaurant which decided to make such a nice place for their guests was likely to have excellent food. Indeed, they do. Go and enjoy!
Ordered from doordash, and i selected thai spicy on 3 dishes. It was so incredibly spicy that we had to throw everything away. Look, i love spicy food, i grew up around it for god sake. I've traveled all over asia, and tried some crazy spicy dishes as well, it all pales in comparison to this. I've signed release forms at restaurants that specialize in spicy food. This isn't food, this is insane spicy. I'm giving it four stars, because the flavor is quiet good. One thing i'd recommend of the restaurant, you should have people sign a release form if you are going to be serving people this, if it was an average bloke, they could be in the hospital, no joke.
I really used to like this place, but I've noticed the upcharge on dishes. They charge for rice that usually would come with a meal. I always order take out so idk if its the same dine in. Portions are also smaller. Great customer service as usual.
