Easily one of the best pizzas that I have tasted… period!!!.Need to say anymore ?. This pizzeria is located in Berkeley. I went on a Saturday evening. They are open from 5 pm - 8pm / until pizzas are over ( whichever is earlier). They only make one kind of pizza everyday. They are all vegetarian with vegan and gluten free options. For the vegetarian ones we can order by slice or half a pizza or a full one. I ordered a half pizza. They also have a dynamite tasting green spicy sauce which is a must buy on the side. I think the green sauce has serrano chillies, green onion garlic ( I think.. not sure). They publish the menu for the whole week at a time in their website.I went there 20 minutes in advance and so had a reasonable long queue in front of me. In the time I was standing in the queue there were around 50-75 people who came and stood behind me. So BE PREPARED to wait in line if you come after 5 pm. There is no space inside to eat. There are a few benches and tables outside for eating.The pizza crust is very then and crispy. The day I went, they made the mushroom and chippelini onion pizza with garlic mozzarella Parmesan and green pesto. I also got the green spicy sauce to go. The portion size is filling for one easily if you get a half pizza.I will definitely come here again for sure.
Very high quality vegetarian pizza! The cheese tastes fancy and melts over the edge of the crust to form crispy cheese edges! Spicy green sauce is a must-try condiment well worth the extra price.Only one kind of pizza is available and they put a sign out so you know what the toppings are ahead of time. If you have no food allergies, I recommend getting whatever is offered. It's always good.Various outdoor seating is available. Indoor seating was not available at the time of this review.I got in line at 4:45pm, 15 min before opening time. There was already a long line, but it hadn't gone around the corner yet. Once they opened at 5, the line went really quickly and then seemed to slow a bit later after the first wave of pizzas went out.
Cheese Board is a definite foodie stop in Berkeley. They have quick service and is well worth the wait. Ingredients are fresh, go for a full pie with green sauce!

Very unique pizza place. Just one speciality pizza everyday. There are long ques when we went and it took 50 min to reach counter. I wish they take online order. Pizza is delicious. Green sauce is tasty and must try. There is place to sit outside.
Some of the best pizza in the East Bay. I don't ever think I've been to Cheeseboard and not enjoyed the pizza of the day, and I've visited over 200 times at this point. It's also crazy affordable, $20 for a pizza that feeds 4. They also have good salads, and ice cream! As for atmosphere, you can't beat listening to live music for free! My only suggestion is getting the pizza double cut, as makes it more enjoyable to eat.

Great place for pizza lovers, especially cheese pizza lovers like me. Flavors blended well together and the crust was delicious. If you like pesto and spicy, then you have to get a side of their spicy pesto sauce. Love the simplicity of the menu, but wish there was at least two specialty pizzas available daily. They also have a vegan pizza option available which works out great because I have a daughter with dairy allergies ??. Will definitely come back.
This is the real deal. All pizzas are vegetarian. Vegan is available but go to the front of the line to place the order and get in line. The line is usually ridiculously long but it moves very fast. Know that they really only have one pizza type so don't be dense and take a long time to order. It works out to about $24/pie. They only open for a few hours a few days a week.. I'll be back for sure.
Among the best pizzas I’ve had. Ever. I was skeptical of the hype until I tried it.Get the green sauce. The long line moves relatively quickly. Don’t despair.
