Good empanadas, chill vibes. Look for the owner, she makes the coffee best.

The best empanadas I have ever tried! So fresh and delicious! I tried the Chorizo, Humita, Fugazzeta and Apple. All a must try!

I wanted to like this. We were just passing through and needed a quick bite. It was quick for sure but disappointing. I had never had a mediocre empanada before. The crust was flavorless as was the stuffing (both sweet and savory varieties).

It doesn’t get better than a hot empanada and coffee on a weekday morning at cafe Buenos Aires. The food> the coffee> The people> the vibe> definitely my favorite cafe in Berkeley.

These were some of the best empanadas I’ve had in my life! It was fast and so so delicious! I loved that the dough wasn’t too thick or too dry. And the chimichurri was insanely good too. Just go here and get your empanadas!!

Food is truly amazing. Inexpensive. Wonderful people working here. Clean and yummy and great vibes. Much room and vegan spicy sausage empanada are to die for. Thank you so much xxxx

Boss is super nice, staffs not bad.Reasonable price, REALLY nice coffees.Great food snack/meal. Great Dessert!Definitely a place I often get coffees!

Swung by to nibble on some empanadas and enjoy a cafe con leche for breakfast. They were visibly short staffed the morning I strolled in, but the hustle of the staff was absolutley apparent. I placed my order online so they could continue to focus on churning out orders. Apologies were profusely offered for the impending wait for food and coffee, but I wasn't in the least bit bothered as it offered an opportunity to enjoy their space and the heavenly smells whilst reading a book. The mushroom empanada with chimi was divine and reminiscent of empanadas made for me by my Argentinian brother in law and his family. Will definitely come back to try out some different savory empanadas and hope that the apricot pastry is back in stock!!

Great empanadas! I’m partial to the spinach and feta as well as the mushroom but the flavors are great! Place looks so great since they remodeled!

Found this place on Caviar and was curious to try it, and it was disappointing. The ham & cheese empanada barely had any filling (see photo of what’s on Caviar and what I received) and it felt like I was eating a bunch of dough. I hope this was a genuine mistake and that they are not serving this to all customers. For $6, this has to be one of the most overpriced empanadas.
