A wonderful treat every visit ❤️ Belmo Cafe’s brioche is a must treat of all times ~ my mom who lives quite a distance always ask for their delicious freshly baked brioche - hope it will be available more. Also, at a work retreat folks immensely enjoyed Belmo Cafe’s turkish delight! We love trying new items each visit but the honey cake (sorry i do not know what it is called) paired really well with a cup of fresh black hot coffee. A total delight Belmo Cafe is. Mercí. Looking forward to next visit with the most friendly cafe workers, worth the travel despite high gas prices ?
Absolutely delightful! The counter folks could not have been nicer. So many options in the case, so beautifully arranged and decorated, made choosing really hard. Dining is outside only, but we had no problem getting a table for 3 on a Sunday morning. Totally savored my palmier and biscotti with a latte. Delighted to be served an almond/honey cake sample that was indescribably wonderful. I really appreciate a place that realizes that hospitality is as important as the food - and this place knocks both out of the park!
This place has great treats !!!
Deliciously authentic Algerian French pastries! Made fresh daily, my North African husband and I try to get out here as much as possible (we're from the Northbay). I forget all the names but we got an assortment box that we'll be enjoying for the next few days. There were cute little cafe chairs out front and while we didn't order a beverage or sandwich, it seems like a nice place to enjoy an authentic pastry or meal.Merci à Café Belmo car nous avons fait un retour rapide chez yemma pendent en mangent vos pâtisseries
I literally refrain myself from going there every day. Good coffee, great bakery products! I love the variety they offer and the service is good. So far I have tried their latte (the oat milk latte was so smooth and soothing), plain and almond croissants and baklava - everything was on point!
Excellent experience for my gf and I for Valentine’s Day festivities. The bakery was well-decorated with super friendly owners. Shared an incredible baklava, another Algerian pastry, and a large mocha. Everything was tasty!
The pastries continue to excel in taste and texture. Today's almond croissant was perfectly nutty, almondy and crunchy yet soft. The outside was a bit too brown for my taste but totally delicious still.
Very nice and friendly service. The bread is not too sweet and I love it. The lemon pie/fruit tart is also amazing. Great coffee too ;) great experience to have a coffee chat here
The customer service was as great as their pastries.
We were walking down the street for an afternoon stroll, and… at the risk of sounding corny: we were simply pulled into this establishment by its warm energy. I experienced the best eclair I probably ever will, and my husband was equally thrilled with his baklava. Our 18 month old son found his way out of his stroller and bonked his head, and the man with the sweetest heart offered him a lion shaped cookie to help him feel better. The most serendipitous thing - because our son’s name is Greek for Lion. We are in Berkeley on vacation but we definitely want to go back before we pick up and leave simply to pay this gentleman another visit. Thank you so much for a warm experience! If you have the chance you must go.
